I'll eventually upgrade, but not at 2K plus.

Way too much camera for my need, and way too expensive toy.

But Pro Capture is simply amazing!

I know right. While it's the cheapest I've ever seen it, it's still too high. 2k+ can get you a new latest model full frame camera. =/

      • agree, full frame could be better. Also, i have heaps of olympus gear i am struck with as olympus themselves are not sure about four thirds and moved to micro line up.

what's point to get m43 at this price, instead of full frame?

    • +4

Well its all about the 200+ lenses available to use with this system, whether it be native m43 glass, Four Thirds glass with adapter …or pretty much any lens made with all the available adapters these days! Amazing variety.

The image stabilisation is also indusrty leading and with the new lenses having inbuilt as well you can shoot handhelp in very low light with great results!

The system is also very compact and feature rich.

Other than that - if you are already invested in another system its a big ask to switch over …but many have!

      Cheers

not convinced by the group of lens available.
        IS is attempting.
canon 5diii is very compact to me :)
but very thank you for your reply.

        • If you think larger sensor = better photos then you wouldn't bother with Full Frame, you'd be after some Medium Format goodness, am I right?

        • @realist123: yes

larger sensor does equal better photos -in terms of low light performance (ability to use siginficantly lower ISO) and bokeh.
