Doesn't stack with existing memberships it seems

    • Had a feeling it wouldn’t :(

    • Are you currently on paid membership or existing trial like from PayPal or mastercard promo?

      • +1

Yep, doesn't stack with those for me.

    I wish it stacked

  • I don't think I am even a NRMA Member and the link still worked to claim 3 months Uber One.
I certainly wasn't logged into NRMA!

    • Free NRMA Blue?

  • +2

Worked for me. I cancelled immediately so they don't charge you in 3 months.

    • does Uber One membership also get canceled in that case?

      • +4

It cancels at end of 3 months.

  • Wasn’t even signed into my NRMA account and it still allowed me to claim 3 months for free.

    Thanks, activated and canceled immediately.

I had wondered the same thing, so I looked it up

We can do that?! Just use Google and get answers for ourselves?

        • You should google your question

          • @aka nioh: I tried that and it keeps giving results about googling myself.
And since I'm not really into foot porn I might pass on that.

  • I have NRMA but went through without login for me

  • Can confirm, worked without logging in. Thanks OP!

  • Worked without NRMA. Thanks OP!

Seem there is an issue with adding payment method when signing up. Anyone having the same issue?

    • +2

yes, PayPal set up and then couldn’t proceed further, gotta use credit card to set up and cancel autopay from PayPal

    • Yep, something a bit dicky. My credit card at Uber had expired but I had Paypal as a valid payment option on Uber. Yet this Uber One trial sign up would not let me use my PayPal, instead insisting I had to use my credit card and then failing because it had expired.

I had to go into my Uber account seperately and edit the date and CVV on the card, then this link worked.

Also as others just cancelled straight away and it says I'm good till Feb 4 2024.

Glad I got that 6 months free Uber Plus and could cancel Dash Pass. Uber Plus doesn't have free delivery for McDonald's near me, so I've saved a tonne of money and weight by not caving in and getting borgars delivered.

  • Ive already claimed the 6mo Paypal/uber offer so I cant see myself, but does it state 4 Dec as the promo expiry after you press claim ?

  • Worked for me - thanks OP

  • Can you claim this first then the Paypal 6 months free?

    • did you try this ?

      • Yes, no you can't stack this on top of Paypal offer.

        • ok thanks for confirming. will go ahead with paypal offer.

  • How do I become NRMA member for free? I didn’t get that memo. I have PayPal and also ANZ Mastercard.

      • Thanks mate. Ah that’s NRMA blue which doesn’t have roadside assistance. I did have membership before but can’t access any more with my current gmail account nor forget login ID or password helps.
I didn’t get a chance to set new gmail account.

    • If you're an Uber One member you can get six months of NRMA, or you could last week. I didn't claim it because I'm still not sure what NRMA is, or if it will charge me for the other six months for a year's worth or if I can cancel early or what.

  • Any one get the link to work?? Scrolling down and get a 404 on the link

I just tried it (clicked via my email). Says the offer expired.

      • Thnx - ended up paying $48 bucks for 12 month sub :')
