A great deal for Brita Maxtra Pro All in One filters.

Only $7.78/filter. Apparently they can filter 50 % more water than the Maxtra+ filters so would be equivalent to $5.19/maxtra+ filter.

These are also made in Germany not like the ones sold in Australia which are made in China.

Product Descrpition:

Fits all BRITA Jugs and BRITA Flow. Guaranteed optimal filtration in systems with BRITA PerfectFit system (Aluna, Marella, Style, Glass Jug).

Improved filter performance: BRITA's new innovative micro-mesh reduces microparticles ≥ 30 μm. 4x better than our previous BRITA MAXTRA+ filter cartridge - ideal for older pipework.

Increased filter capacity of up to 150L, giving fresh great tasting filtered water for just a few pence per litre.

Edit: Back in stock again and down in price slightly to $93.39 (possibly due to exchange rate). Get them before they sell out again.

Are these worth the step up in price?

I've been using the Kirkland (Costco) ones and they're Made in Germany.

    • Not sure. I bought a pack of these ones recently but have not tried them out yet. According to the Brita UK Website these Maxtra Pro All in One filters are supposed to be better in every way.

    • Interesting. I've never seen them. Are they available in all Costco?

    • You mean the filter compatible with Brita?

  • Thanks, bought 1 :)

  • Unfortunately, this is not the type that specifically targets limescale.
The 'limescale expert' for this new facelifted model has a grey logo badge, this one is the 'normal' one.

    • It says limescale on the listing. Its All In One, goes without saying it can do everything. Its not a limescale "expert" but it can still do that.

  • Would these fit in the brita cask?

It says it fits the brita flow, which is the cask

I’m worried about micro plastic in the other plastic jugs.

You understand the filters are plastic…..

      • While I found that comment funny, I guess technically it should filter out more pre-existing microplastics (depending on the source water) than it would introduce itself so a theoretical net gain.

It's also not constantly in contact with the water so I'd say less of a concern?

      • Exactly.. some people worry too much about everything..
They are more likely to die from cancer (from their diet) than plastics seeping into your water (note the jugs would be BPA-free (although glass is better and like it as well - just more breakable, heavier etc)

This deal is for you, 12 years of drinking water sorted

      • Technically 18yrs worth of "filtered" drinking water in this case

    • How can you drink water when it starts to taste bad 1 week after the filter expires? I know its probably done by Brita on purpose but its enough for me to change the filter.

  • Does anyone know if these will fit the kmart water jug?

I prefer made in china ones, not big fan of German. :)

  • Has anyone compared how the Brita ones compare to the OEM ones that are way cheaper?

  • Made in UK version is great.
    Bought 2

  • I clicked on the link but got a price of $104.16 with prime?

    • They are back in stock again at a slightly cheaper price of $93.39.

      • $104.05 for me with or without prime logged in

        • Oh, yes. I just checked also and it's gone back up to $104. Deal looks like it's over again.
