  • Fantastic app & deal. Thx for share OP

Wonder why such an old app requires IOS17. Oh well, not for me.

    • Says version 1.0 was published in January 2024 and it's been updated every couple of weeks since then.

I guess that's a modernised version of an old app.

    Download the app.
Tap on the cog (upper left-hand corner).
Tap "Premium Features" and a window will pop up.
Scroll down this window and there should be an option for $0.00 for Lifetime Supporter (or something). If successful, it should change to a green bar with "You are a supporter" on it.

    Hope this helps.

    • Must have expired. Back to $9.99

  • Please explain to me like a 5 year old. So does this mean I can get rid of Spotify subscription? O.O

    • +5

      Big depends

The functionality according to the dev on a recent post on reddit says

The app works in the very same way as Musi, which has been on the App Store for 8 years. My app uses integrated Safari web browser to show the YouTube player. The only difference is that my app fetches song metadata from MusicBrainz and Wikipedia databases. As per YouTube ToS my app does NOT download any audio / video files and does not allow PiP. Demus requires constant internet connection, because it’s like watching YouTube through Safari.

    • So does the app keep my favorites irrespective of my subscriptions, hoping from youtube to Spotify and it should be able to keep the music up and running by keeping playlist intact?

  • Apparently apps like this tend to get shut down pretty quickly

Dev seems very certain he will be fine as it doesn’t break any tos of youtube

        Well said mate 😊

  • When I load the app I get an orange thinking swirl in the middle and then a black screen. Using a 15 Pro.

    • I was getting the similar issues (black screen) restarting my iphone helped to resolve this issue fwiw

      • Wow, if that’s not buggy

      • Thanks, didn't try as I read this after the deal expired.

  • Wowwww working like charm! Thanks 🙏
