                    @hawkeye93: Which store? I spoke to the Cockburn manager on Friday and he called head office. They were unable to change the price then but maybe now given it’s the last day.

    Bought 5 tonight with 3x$100 SB supermarket gc + 1x$200 SB supermarket gc (all purchased with either vanilla visa or coles MasterCard prepaid). I didn't get the 10 min window for using multiple supermarket gcs that @WookieMonster has pointed out before I think? This was at a cashier.

      I suspect the spending restrictions that Blackhawk Network used to implement at supermarkets are now gone.

      Btw, did you redeem ShopBack Supermarket Visa gift cards in a single transaction, or one per transaction?

        Hopefully.

        3 single transactions for the $100 using prepaid MC last night (those MCs were added last night too).

        Then 1 single transaction for the $200 using vanilla visa earlier this arvo (added this arvo too). Initially had trouble with the payment processing. But tried again a short while later and it worked.

    its a bit tricky with the shopback supermarket card, since the surcharge is unavoidable, i had my $300 supermarket card and could only buy $250 worth since with the surcharge, I paid an extra 1.25, so $300 would be $301.50 and would not work.

      You can still pay for 3x$100 with the $300 SB supermarket card because you'd only get charged $270 + $1.50.

    The retailers on the physical cards differs from the retailers listed on Aldi's site. For example IKEA is listed on the Everyone's card from the deal's link here but when I popped by an Aldi, the $100 Everyone card is missing IKEA.

      Neither are the source of truth for participating retailers.

      There is a FAQ that address your question, but in short:

      The Ultimate gift card website is the source of truth for participating retailers, because that is what the Ultimate gift card terms and conditions say.

      IKEA was added as a participating retailer for the Ultimate gift card scheme in late July 2023, and only started appearing on the packaging of physical Ultimate gift cards manufactured from May 2023 onwards. If you go to ALDI and have a look at the Ultimate Everyone gift cards stocked there, there is a good chance ALDI is stocking older Ultimate Everyone gift cards (but they will still work at IKEA). Additionally, there are so many participating retailers on the Ultimate Everyone gift cards that there are some participating retailer logos inside the cardboard gift card packaging.

      If the ALDI website was going to show all the participating retailers’ logos on their image of the Ultimate Everyone gift card, the logos would be incredibly small and therefore not very useful…

      ALDI’s checkouts will not let you purchase more than 5 gift cards in one transaction. Whether staff will let you purchase more than 5 gift cards across multiple transactions is really up to them.

      Yeah me too went to 2 stores lots of Everyone 100s in stock but at counter rings up as $100. First store manager said there's a problem with the promo and 2nd had no clue and tried to sell the idea of value being added to gift card (ie $110) rather than 10% off. Can they manually adjust price?

    In Melbourne, tried to get 5 x $100 Ultimate Home. Also tried Ultimate Everyone. Both didn't work. Tried two different stores. Transaction goes through, and the discount shows up when scanned. However, on the till the card comes up as not activated and a cash refund is immediately processed. A lot of hoop jumping and a few calls to their helpdesk. Ultimately their customer care team said none of the Ultimate Card with the 10% discount are working at this stage. So they took all of it off the shelf and I left empty handed :(

    OK, for anyone in WA, you may already know about the system issue that prevents the discount when checking out. I went to the store in Morley, WA and the guys were really helpful. The cashier lady looked panic as I bought 18 gift cards and she did not know how to process the refund. A guy walked me to another closed line to process it. They could not choose the refund option so just manually change the price to $90 each. Although it's not their fault, they keep saying sorry about this incident.

        If you have the receipt/s then it would show on it that it failed activation due to invalid amount.

          The receipt says activated. But when i check the balance online, it says activation failed. Anyway, the Aldi staff will call Ultimate gift card to resolve it and call me tomorrow.
