Great tools but some of their sets have strange sizing, missing a 14mm socket or spanner. On many Toyota vehicles 14mm is one of the very common bolt and nut sizes …

  • Are any of these good for building ikea furniture?

      Yeah, the allen wrench set.

I am starting to get the feeling Wera is one of those brands that has a permanent markup so they can regularly go on sale

    • You are not alone.

    • You're 100% right

Their tools is good but too expensive for what it is, I found the cheapo Trojan tools selling at bunnings are bloody good value for money and good quality

Trojan's pretty good for the price point. It's probably what people should be buying if they're doing cheap DIY stuff in the house, rather than the absolute cheapest Craftright etc stuff Bunnings sells for impossibly low prices.

      • Totally agree. I upgraded to Trojan and have never looked back. Craftwright has a place, for a tool you might use one a year.. but the Trojan gear is worth the small premium for anything you might use semi-regularly. Wera and Bosch certainly worth considering when on sale though. They do feel a bit more premium!
