Allans are offering free Dunlop restringing. Comes with free strings.

Summary of Conditions:

• Bring in guitars on a Tuesday or a Sunday no later than 30th April 2009
• Must join/confirm details in Allan's customer databases
• May have to leave guitar if store is busy
• Guitars with locking tremolo excluded, customer offered free strings in lieu
• Limit one per customer
• Bass guitars excluded

  It costs about $5 for a restring at most (even at our local music shop). Good way of getting customers in :-)

    Yeah, comes with free strings. I wasn't sure from just reading the ad, but I called up a store to confirm.

  Personally I'd rather do my own strings however I do accept this is a good deal and have voted accordingly. I think it's good to learn how to restring your guitar though. Give a man a fish, teach him to fish etc etc etc.

    i'm guessing if you walked in and signed up to their list, they'd be more than happy for you to just take the strings.

      Possibly, but, I'm just saying it helps to know how to restring and retune your own guitar :)
