Hmmm , The SAMSUNG 46” SERIES 6 LA46A650 - Full HD 1080p was sold on COTD few months ago for less than $1800 and now its $2099. Looks like decline in aussie $$ has increased the prices.

  • I wish i could pick up the 8 Series for $2500

  • what's their dead pixel policy?

  • I might grab the series 7 52". Between that and the 46" but given i wanted a tv in the next fortnight and the 52" is in the budget I had allocated for the 46" I think I may just go the larger size rather than lower price.

    Thanks

      and grabbed it

  • Kinda wish I haven't brought my 50' plama…cause I would love to get that 650…

  • no wonder the stimulus packages are being well-spent !

  • thinkin about grabbing the 46inch 6 series… seems to have everything i need

  • I have the 46" 650 which I bought 3 months ago for what I thought was a good price of $2600.

    It is a great TV.

Seriously considering the 52" 650 for the other room…

  • What's the main difference bw series 6 7 8?
I can see Contrast Ratio & Wise link pro.

    • 8 series is 1/3 the thickness of the other 2

The 46" models are sold out.

  • edit

  • If you miss out (or want to buy locally) - print out the page and take it to a store. Harvey Norman price matched for me (series 6 52" :) and someone else that got there before me (the tv had a hold sticker with the COTD price on it, series 7 52")

  • Thanks for the heads up grabbed a 52" S7, nice price too. after looking at them agains the Bravas I prefer the Samsungs darker black & more vivid colours. Some specs say 3 HDMI and some say 4??

    • 3 at the back, 1 on the side.

  • Harvey Norman has the 46" Series 8 for $2699 - on special until 1/5/2009.

  • These prices are brilliant! My brother got the 40 inch series 6 at the best price he could bargain from the good guys for $2150 only a month ago! But these guys have the 46 for less. If I was in the market for a tv I wouldn't think twice about this (samsung have 3 yrs warranty too).

  • Hmm is QQQ around? (is there even a PM function here?)

Got a question re customer service. Don't worry it's not bad. Promise :)

    • Email them via the support link on the site. I did it and got a reply within 24 hours. (I duno if you will on weekends or not mind)

      • Well considering he told me 2 days ago that my enquiry would be answered shortly, I am now wondering what their definition of shortly is. Or could it be that their customer service told me one thing yet they did the opposite (re delivery) and now have no real answer for that.

        Hmmmmmmmmmm come on QQQ

        • Sorry mate, just noticed this post.

I sent you an email last night, so think all should be sorted.

  • 52 inch still available.

  • Recieved my LA46A650 on Wednesdy night (approx. 7:00pm). All Hooked up an running like a dream :)

  • Still waiting for mine
