Can someone tell me if this is a good price? Good Protein?

I'd avoid it based on the artificial flavour (chemical unspecified) and Aspertame (Acesulfame Potassium - toxic to the brain). They have a natural variety - consider buying that one as it does not contain any of these dangerous additives. See http://www.nutritionwarehouse.com.au/gold-standard-natural-1…. Regarding price though, it looks rather average as I've seen maybe 5 - 10% cheaper elsewhere (when major sales are on).

      • Yes I'm sure they're adding dangerous poisons to their protein. Sounds legit.

Just noticed they also have a $5 off online purchase deal - subscribe to their newsletter. Use that along with free postage, and this deal becomes good.

      • Signed up but no voucher has been sent yet. Was hoping to get a free protein bar and pack…

        • Just did a quick search and used "free5" with the quest bar. Brought the total to $0 but now the delivery method is asking for $9.95 for Air freight with no postage insurance. I'll see if it gets waivered!

          EDIT:
Looks like the free5 coupon overrides the free shipping from FREEPACK. Cheaper to just order with FREEPACK

Not a good place to enquire about quality, people on here would sooner buy 4kg of Nesquik mix on the cheap than a good quality protein…

That said, you could do worse, and you could do better - The gold standard is a fairly standard mid range powder with an average AA profile, If you're happy with something like that and the price is what you're after then go ahead.

As for price, at ~$35/Kg you could definitely do better.

Thanks for providing suggestions to an alternative.

        • Without knowing what they/anyone else is looking for, it's hard to suggest anything;
If you'd like a suggestion let me know how much you're looking to spend, and any additional dietary requirements and I'll get back to you - Probably going off topic here though.

    • It's one of the best protein powders around. Don't worry about the JeBs fear. But the price is average and you can get cheaper on eBay.

Cheers OP - great idea to just buy a bar and have all that extra stuff thrown in for free! Add to title no minimum spend so more people jump on this!

They also offer a 5% discount for Defence Force personnel. I'm no longer in the Army but well done to them for that. Might buy a couple of things.

    http://www.nutritionwarehouse.com.au/endura-magnesium-rehydr…

    • anything else cheaper? haha

      • +1

Don't know, it's annoying how they don't have a sort function on their website. I just did a Google search of their website punching in random cheaper prices. I'm sure someone smart can parse the whole website and look for the cheapest item.

    • thanks

Would still prefer the quest bar. I hear it's delicious

    • Sold out.

Great deal if they honour it! I went for the Guarana Ginseng 4000. http://www.nutritionwarehouse.com.au/guarana-ginseng-4000-by…

I've tried the similar Vig High Potency tablets in the past and they were a great err… performance enhancer for night time activities. They're far from the cheapest item on site, but $19.95 is as cheap as I can find anywhere online and I'm happy for them to make a couple bucks in exchange for the generous promo. Thanks OP!

  • hydration pack out of stock =(

  • So now that the bars and seemingly everything below $20 are "out of stock" anybody know of a good protein powder at a low price on their website?

  • everything worth buying with this deal is out of stock, but iended up getting some magnesium tablets for $16 i guess.

    • I got some iron tablets I needed to buy anyway so thought might as well order them on here.

  • Multivitamins at $19.95. http://www.nutritionwarehouse.com.au/multi-vitamin-executive…

May not be worth it for someone that wont use them but decent value multi's if you need to stock up.

2534 clicks…I doubt that have 1000's of free gift bags :(. Lol it will be funny when they get to work tomorrow to discover 5,000 new orders.

Glad it's cheap to get this bag, towel and shaker. I wouldn't want to pay a lot to a company to carry around advertising materials for them.

  • Just got my confirmation email with tracking (it was in spam folder). Yay =D

Received mine today! Wow, that was quick.

    • Received mine as well!! Very quick!!

      • Received mine this morning. Quick indeed.

  • +1

Just got mine then. Wow, wish all companies were like this.

    • Yeah, the super fast shipping makes me a lot more likely to order from them again in the future. Doorbuster.com.au (part of Woolworths) had similarly fast shipping but I see they have shut down now.

  • Received mine this afternoon. For only $4 it is a very good value. I do not expect the shaker is that small.

  • Received mine this morning (Brisbane area). Came through FastWay Couriers company. Got the freebies with a $4.50 protein bar lol!

  • wow i got mine today, was not expecting them to ship it out so fast!

  • Anyone in the Sydney area receive theirs?

    • In sydney, received mine today. didn't know they delivered on weekends

  • are the drawstring bags big enough to fit a basketball?

    • Possibly. If so, it will be a very tight fit.
