Car mount for mobile phones

I'm looking for a good car mount for both my Note 3 and S4 so they can mount one-handed. The Exogear's Exomount Touch looks like a good one, and the cheapest I have found is on eBay, at $31.99. Are there anything else better out there?

  • id like to hear what other people say on this too, theres a huge difference in quality in those available

  • I've had this one for a year and it's really really good. It's the number 1 car mount on amazon, but you can get it off ebay too.

    • It's not as sleek and sexy looking as the Exomount Touch though…and the Exomount looks to be more solidly attached on the dashboard than this.

  • I can vouch for this if you'd rather utilise an otherwise useless inbuilt CD Player (Who uses them nowadays??) and keep your window clear as day. Works really well in a 2008 Focus.

Have had this for about 18months and plenty of space for my GS3… I'd guess it would EASILY fit a note 3 in it. Would recommend this - dont know about their magnetic one (such a product didnt exist when I bought mine.. Only just saw it today). Could be a viable option also for one handed mount?

Also - I cut out a section of the backing material to insert an NFC token in the mount - that way it automatically sets my car config up everytime I place it there). Works incredibly well.

    • Actually, I still use the CD player once in a while. Thanks for the suggestion anyway :)

  • I have the Belkin one in both my cars and are easy to use and handles pretty much any phone:

    • I had that one, and it exploded - a piece snapped internally and the bits of plastic and my phone went flying as the spring released. Cant recommend, but it was nice when it worked!

    • I'm not sure this will be able to handle a Note 3 which is about 7.9 cm wide. The product page doesn't have the Note 3 as being compatible with this.

  • I have one of those sticky green things for my Nex5 (which is smaller than the Note 3).
I love it. In fact, it is SO sticky it can be hard to peel the phone off, so I use the bottom half for my phone and on the top half, I have the garage door opener, which works better there than if I put it on the sun visor.

  • If you want something that will last - get a RAM mount. Not cheap but very well made.

  • So, which product that you bought? I am looking for the same thing too to hold my Note 2 and Sony Z1 Compact. The Mountek nGroove Snap looks really appealing.
