  • They are really good, not as good as krispy kreme! But they are avail like everywhere and there only a $1! (is this a promotion or are they always this price?)

    mmmmmmmmmmmmm donuts ;)

    +1

    • My thoughts exactly!

  • +3

It is a special offer valid until 29/06/2009

Krispy Kreme are slightly overrated IMO. They are OK but not in the same stratosphere as 7/11. Plus the opening hours of 7/11 are far superior.

  • +1

As long as they are fresh mind you - which I would guess that will be if they are $1

mmm chocolate + donut = win

  • Good stuff.

  • +1

Sensational…off to the 7-Eleven Mornington right now!

My sons Kobe & Derek love these donuts (my dog Derrrwight likes them too!)

  • how much was regular price for the donuts?

    • +1

      1.60

      • thanks.still worth a try.

      • keep up the good work kakas

  • good deal but not veey new, deal has been on for a while already. Plus one because they are pretty bloody good.

  • +1

any deal for donuts gets my vote!

  • +1

They're not exactly "7/11 donuts" either. 7/11 get their donuts from Mr. Donut.

    • yup. which is the same as the one sold at safeway, coles, gloria jeans, etc :)

      • I don't think Woolies/Coles gets Mr. Donut up north cos Woolies/Coles donuts are shite.

I am hoping that fellow OzBargain readers eat a more balanced diet than the bargains here. :)

I know the Mars bar specials and the donuts are tempting… so I hope you're exercising it off, somehow!

    • +2

we do walk to and from the 7-11 and coles, surely thats exercise enough!

    • +2

      That's why there's always Wii Fit bargains…

  • -1

    hehe lakers :D
yeah ditto to what pspman said
    BUT WHO CARES

    (y)Donuts :D

  • +1

sigh I remember the days when they were 50cents about 10 years ago. Pitty I just started a health kick so I can't enjoy these :(

  • Wish it wasn't a 10 minute drive to my nearest 7-11 :-(
$1 donuts mmmm, it is tempting though!!

  • hmm i wish there was such a thing as 7/11 in WA!

  • +1

They're good, but not the best in the world!
Shame this promo has caused them to be sold out most times I visit my 7/11 store.

  • Hey I think I saw this a few weeks back at my local 7/11 but I thought it was something regular.
I also reacted with "WOW so much cheaper than Krispy Kreme" and it looks so similar! Except.. it doesn't taste quite as nice. Maybe it means less sugar =)

  • just got mine
went 3 stores and only have 1 that has choc donuts..good thing cbd's stores are near

  • +2

they are horrible and $1 is still expensive for a doughnut

    • well can u find a cheaper one?
please submit a deal for us . would love to get it cheaper :)
nonetheless its alright if ur craving , just make a pit stop at ur friendly 7/11

      • +1

        At the supermarket

  • Only if Woolies had the same supplier for donuts as 7/11.

  • If only they had jam, I love the jam donuts!
I went to 7/11 yesterday and bought a jam one and got it for a dollar by mistake, I was a bit too happy for getting a 60c discount on a donut, but still…

    • i got one too lmao

  • +2

mmmm… day old, stale, plain doughnuts finished with bland coloured icing — yum, Krusty Kreme!
KKK since 1937 — when they say old, they really mean it — kind of ironic they don't make any donuts with 'cream' when that's part of the name.

I think 7/11's are typically better — but it's a matter of luck scoring freshly delivered ones, same deal with Mr Donut in the supermarket.
Donut King, Dunkin' Donuts and the like are always fresh but so sugar loaded you may regret it later.

bottom line is, good donuts need to be 'just made' — only the old school places like American Doughnuts and Spanish Churros (both at Queen Victoria Market) still do it that way — always excellent, not over-sweet, and great value — now if only the queues weren't so long…

    • +3

Love the donuts at Queen Vic market. It is a must stop every time we visit ;)

  • +2

^^ what he said, i like the "olympic dougnuts" at footscray station the most though, those things are the best!

    • +1

      Oh yeah they're the best!!

  • +1

These donut deals are a major weakness of mine when ever I leave a bar or club

  • Go the Lakers! ;)

  • +1

You can get a 4pack of these at woolies for 2.97 on sale in the bakery section at the moment…

  • So all this enthusiasm about $1 donuts yet nobody has mentioned the joy of occasionally finding a 12-pack of cinnamon donuts at Coles for $2? It makes for a healthy and nutritious dinner (since I usually go to Coles toward the end of the day) since there's no healthier food than a donut. In case you're not convinced, they're round so the fat rolls right off. If you want to lose massive amounts of weight, eat donuts and Fruit Tingles….

    • And Dominos pizza…. and Tim Tams.

It has been very nice to see the reaction by our members to the racial remark - but all posts referring to this have been deleted. I am sure the original poster understands your feelings by now, and it serves no purpose to leave this offensive remark here.

To the original poster, this is NOT the place to start racial comments. Personal viewpoints like that are yours and are not for here. I understand that sometimes people can make errors of judgement but if they persist then they really dont fit with this community..

  • bought 4 on the recommendation here today. Don't waste your stomach space and have put two aside to giveway. Nothing special about these. Better get them at Coles or better still Krispy Kremes - the best!

  • Pretty ordinary tasting donuts, but for $1 i'm not complaining

  • moooooooo - i agree there is no fat in donuts

its true it all fell out through the middle

meaning donuts are indeed a healthy meal option :)

  • That was terrible…one of the ones I got tasted like pesticide and newspapers, and the other was like day-old peanuts. Never again. :S

  • Aww now reading this (after link from current donut offer at 7/11) I'm interested to know how someone managed to make a racist remark about donuts but it's all been deleted!
