  • What's the normal price?

    • $5 each for these assorted pallets. They are still in working order.

For people who want them it's a bargain.

    • +4

Many companies (warehouse based) still use pallets for storage and freight.

Or if you need ideas for pallets:

    • You can use them for firewood if you don't need one for transport.

Personally I don't have a big enough car to take one home.

      • +3

Make sure you only get the Heat treated ones for firewood or anything used for home.

Anything chemical treated is toxic and should only be used as a pallet.

  • Normal price for these assorted pallets would be $5 each.

    /r/palletstorage/ would be impressed

    • +7

I did not even know this was a thing until now.

  • We have a range of other pine and plastic pallets ranging in size and quality. Feel free to call 08 9434 2264 for more information.

  • I built a whole shelving system out of old pine pallets the weekend before last. As a bonus my garden sheds now have a nice pine smell when I enter.

I found a local electrical/plumbing place that has these out the back leftover from shipping pipe bundles and cable etc. Those round cable drums make interesting garden furniture and pot holders.

How much is shipping to NSW 2206 for all of them?

  • +1

Please put the suburb in the title.

nice looking pallets, could of used some few years ago.

  • +1

You could take the blue pallets back to chep and get money for them, if you have an account with chep that is.

    • +1

They're just blue heat treated pallets. Not CHEP, we don't use CHEP pallets

    • +7

how i hope I can neg this more!!!

      • lol I gave a neg for you and me. We can share my neg… damn giving that neg felt good…

    • +15

        • +14

        • +9

          Snitches get stitches.

        • +12

          they aren't CHEP pallets.

        • +2

Yes, they are CHEAP pallets @$5 a piece

        • Just a sook that's all.

        • And not bitches

Chep vs Bunnings info for background on why this is a thing: http://www.smh.com.au/business/bunnings-11m-pallet-cleanser-…

Always wondered why Bunnings had a no Chep pallets sign… And now I know!

        • Chep are sh!t pallets anyway.

    • They're not even Australian ones, so it'd likely cost more to send them back to where they came from than what they're worth, hence Chep wouldn't give a shit.

      • -8

You have no idea. Chep would have produced more pallets for the Australian business than what was required.

Chep lost a lot in the US and went looking them - they found some (not really the ones they were looking for in Bunnings stores)

        • Your a (profanity). I've reported you to the (profanity) police.

    • +2

Being blue does not mean its from chep. Cant see any label as well. Your probably just jealous.

        • +12

You're one big joke. My old workplace had pallets of various colours you probably haven't seen in this lifetime. You need to grow up and stop being a pain to others.

    • +6

Obviously OP painted these blue to differentiate them from the others, you're just assuming that because they're a different colour, they're automatically CHEP.

That's discrimination son. I'm reporting you to the CHEPolice - Hope they charge and fine you.

    • +4

They aren't CHEP pallets. They are just heat treated pallets that are blue. We don't deal with CHEP pallets, they either get sent back by the client or we send them back for them.

      • -4

Ok - obviously you wouldn't use Chep pallets are you sell white (which has been losing share for a long time now)

    • +2

Even if they are chep, they wont care - this mob wouldnt be their client, which means a paying chep client left them somewhere they shouldnt and is still getting charged rent for those pallets, as long as the cash is flowing in, the further lost they get the better.

      • -4

Well that's not true, the more lost they are the better. There are other fees that Chep charges aside from the obvious daily charge

    • We know who dein works for now…

      • Nah , he's just a concerned citizen remember…

    • WTF?! Brown must be your shit.

  • +3

I would be getting them to make this if I still lived in Perth - http://diypalletfurniture.net/pallet-sofas/diy-pallet-furnit…

    • +1

We do make pallet furniture, including chairs, beds and plant beds. Give us a call and we can help you out with it and even make it to specific measurements for you.

    • +1

wow..didn't know you could make furniture out of pallet. Looks pretty cool too. Are they generally cheaper or more expensive than conventional furniture though?

      • cheaper usually depending on the size of the furniture you want. Call us for a quote on 9434 2264 during business hours if it suits you. :)

  • I've always wondered what they deliver pallets on…

    (And don't say 'a truck'.)

    • We have a flat tray truck which has sides on it holding them in and we strap them down too in larger orders

  • +1
