      After my cat ate the cord of my EarPods that came with my iPhone 5 (grr), I was looking to get some new ones but found they were way too expensive and the off-brand ones didn't have good reviews. Eh, they weren't extremely comfortable anyway, despite the new design. I guess I have small ears. So I went looking for some silicone in-ear buds with a remote so I could keep the functionality of the EarPods and be comfortable. After reading TONS of reviews on different brands with very different price points, the iLuv buds were affordable, had good reviews, came in white and had a compatible remote so I decided to purchase them.

      I've been using them almost daily for about a month now and so far I am really pleased. The remote does its job with volume adjustment and playing/pausing/skipping music, and people seem to hear me clearly with the mic. The sound is great (though I'm not a sound aficionado, but the music sounds good to me). The ear buds are comfortable, I've been using the medium size ones and they mostly stay put.

      My absolute most favorite part of these is the cord. It's a "tangle resistant" cord, my first, and it's fabulous. It's flat and wider than the Apple cords and is made of a more "smooth" plastic-like material, rather than the rubbery cord that that the Apple ones have that everyone knows are notorious for getting tangled like MAD. Sure, Apple has cases and things you can organize their cords with, but that takes extra time and these I can just throw in my purse and not have to worry about pulling them back out in a little insanely-tangled ball. They also seem to be more stain-resistant as well. My Apple ones would be dingy-grey by now, but these are still as white as can be. Seriously, the cord is amazing.

      Hopefully these will last me a good long while. I've tried Skull Candy (one side always goes out on those, I've owned like 6 pairs) and Sony, which were great until, surprisingly, one side also went out. I'll just have to keep these away from my cat.

    hows the microphonics? this flat noodle design reminds me of my htc one beats like earbuds but the microphonics was pretty bad. i could hear rustling when the cord brushed against my shirt. the apple earphones that came with my iphone 5s are much better and comfortable (not in ear) for sitting at work with earphones in for 8 hrs

    got five last round with P&H. Not very happy with them. The wire is too thick and hard. They would easily fall out of your ears, so walking/running with them are not recommended. Sound quality is ok for $5.00 (in my case, $5.95 each).

      But in my case, those thin round cables I always keep tripping them and pull them down by force, ended up broken on mostly right side, hope this one is much tougher, plus $5 wouldn't complain.

      Ok…Here's the deal. I really, really wanted to like these headphones. I went so far as to get them replaced instead of returning them. I have a Galaxy S3. I'm not sure if that matters (it shouldn't), but both the initial set and the replacement failed to work correctly. The sound and fit are fine. What doesn't work is the main reason I purchased them. I needed a headset that also worked with my phone so I could take calls without taking my phone out of my pocket or bag. This dose not do that. Also, the volume rocker dose nothing at all. The play/pause button seems to work ok. So, these might be good for an iPod or other music player but not a phone. Very disappointed. Will be sending back.

    Not sure if you're all interested but this is a good pair or earphones for about $7 free postage (Hong Kong/Shenzen)

    Build quality is pretty good but they are made from metal so they are quite heavy and fall out. But you can fix it with a clip.

    I've been using mine for about a year now and they're still in good condition

          Hi I got the Android compatible earphone for my iphone 4 and it seems to work including pause/play, volume & skip to next track (double click play button). The ear buds seem to fall quite easily off my ears though. Hope this helps !

    I purchased 2 of theses on the day the op posted and after the order email on the same day I received nothing, till today. Same as Strat and CVonV above, I received an email today from dse online stating "In relation to your order, we would like to inform you that due to stocking issues we have not been able to fulfill your order. We have cancelled the order and processed a refund." I called them and after 20 mins on hold, I got the same response, out of stock. I replied with " how can you be out OS stock? yet they are still listed on the web site" they checked and said blue unavalable but they could ship Pink and Orange, I agreed and received the shipped email less than an hour later.
