PLE Computers is selling the GARMIN NUVI 255W 4.3" Widescreen GPS for $229, JB Hifi and Officeworks have it on sale for $295. My local Officeworks price matched it (wouldn't drop 5% because they couldn't find a shipping cost on the PLE site) and when I went online to update to newest maps, which is free, found out I could claim a free Garmin sports watch retailing @ $149 as part of a Fathers day special.

I rang Officeworks at Auburn, they said they wouldnt price match for WA. I rang Harvey Norman Auburn and took the printed page from PLE and they matched it, $229 (no $16 postage for Sydney) not bad.. Thanks
Nunawading officeworks would price match but no stock, said there were none at glen waverly or ringwood either.

Somewhat long winded but I ordered by calling OfficeWorks customer service team. They went to the effort of calling PLE to confirm delivery cost and stock availability.
Ended up costing me ($229 + $16 shipping) * 95% (beat by 5%) + $4.95 (handling charge) = $237.70.

Just tried to price match in store at JB Hifi in Hay st, Perth.
They said they couldn't match the price - it was too low.
I didn't realise that price matching by JB's was so selective. Just ordered it through PLE instead with the extra few $$ for postage.
