Samsung EVO 32GB Micro SDHC Class 10 UHS-I 48MB/S $17.95 Free Shipping @ PC Byte

840

Was looking for some memory for a Garmin Virb, saw a few posts pointing to Shoppingsquare or Shoppingexpress but most have expired. Came across PCByte selling the 32GB EVO and had planned to pickup from Silverwater (NSW), but at checkout they offered free shipping (I tried 2000, 3000 and 4000).

No adapter included from what I can tell.

Hope this helps someone until easternculture can post another bonza of a deal :)

        It's interesting information.

        No need to be snarky.

      • hahahahahah "Is it going to be priced similar to this deal?" I love this guy.
but yeah, I already knew about the 200gb Micro SD so this is just spam.

      • I was going to buy 6 but I might want a single 200 instead. The information is useful to help decide whether to purchase the deal or not.

        • lies.

      Yeh man, cool story bro

    • Interesting - always thought flash memory was in units of eight

      • +8

Powers of 2 to be more precise.

        • +1

          Well, if:

          2^37 = 137,438,953,472 decimal or 128 GB
          2^38 = 274,877,906,944 decimal or 256 GB

I'm not sure how they arrive at 200 as a multiple, unless they are adding 3x 64GB chips and calling it 200.

          64GB x 3 = 206,158,430,208 decimal.

Either that or it's a 256GB chip with a lot of bits that failed testing and have been marked out of service :)

ARGH! I just bought one from ebay yesterday for $20.45! I payed $2.50 than I should have. It's my fault really, I knew I should have waited for an Ozbargainer to throw a deal my way. Lesson learned.

    • +1

      Spoken like a true OzBargainer!

      • Thank you.

    • "Excuse me while I go hang myself in shame. I could've been $2.50 richer! All those things I could've bought like ummm….a mars bar!"

      • +6

Lol a true Ozbargainer would never pay $2.50 for a single Mars bar.

Still have 3 unopened i paid $11 delivered for from MSY a while back so seems expensive to me.

    • +1

Meaning you paid $33 too much … as you didn't even use them yet … waste of money ;-)

I mentioned the same pricing here and didn't get a single upvote :)

Long time user first time poster!!..I am still waiting for my order from Shopping square from the 3rd of Feb, anyone else waiting long?

      • +1

        I got mine on Thursday …. Finally…

      • Et tu, Brutus?

Same here. I gave up waiting and ordered from Kogan

      • Got mine today, I think it was about a 3-4 week wait

      • I received mine today.

Unfortunately SHoppingSquare does not inspire confidence; I am still waiting on an order from six weeks ago and the buggas don't respond to email or contact enquiries.

I re-ordered with Kogan for a few dollars more.

Seems to me it is best to pay a little extra to the devils I know rather than play a lottery game.

There, I feel much better now.

I can vouch for pcbyte.com.au as I have had a few painless transactions for genuine items sent out promptly from AU.

        • Congratulations to you then.

I ordered the 3TB Red NAS HDD in Jan or Dec.. No one contacted me at all and after some time, I found that my order has been cancelled!

Still no one has told me why… so I pass … although no monetary exchange, but service-wise? forget it..

        • @Andreu:
          Hey Andreu,
I've popped you a PM regarding the WD RED 3TB HDD order.

          Regards,

        • @francesca2148: Hi francesca2148 any better deal for two is much appreciated

        • @Andreu:

I am sorry to hear about your negative experience there. Every store or business can make a slip up here and there, but generally most people are happy with their service and delivery time. Maybe give them another chance.

          @ozhunter68:

Sorry Guys.. I didn't realise Francesca sent me a PM.

I just replied now.. Happy with the follow up..

I think I should apologise for the post above as it may be caused by my email filter so I may not have received the email to pickup the item. I'll need to check it out tonight when I get back home.

You will be waiting a long time for an adopter :)

  • Very happy, just ordered two more cards as 64g of memory wasn't quite enough for the last holiday with the GoPro…I'll be in video content heaven now…
    Thanks OP.
Also second time using PCByte, service, price and delivery times were awesome the first time.

  • I'm getting a message when ordering that this item is not available and will be back-ordered. Rep, what kind of wait times am I looking at if I order now?

    • Also got the same message.

  • just an update

  • Quoting $2.95 for shipping to the gold coast….

    • Look at the dot above that says Australia Post, that option is free for standard mail not registered mail.

      • There is no option for that. The only free option is for pickup…..

        • go to your shopping cart, enter your state and post code, it'll show Australia post
          edit: Australia post is $2.95
