ALL Headphone 40% off @ QV Harvey Norman

210

Guys, I think it's an extremely good opportunity to upgrade your headphone or event get your hand on some high end headphone. It seems HN has great range of Sennheiser headphone (Including the top of the range IE6, IE7 & IE8) and a few Sony's one. I know HN always has expensive price tag, but with 40% off, most of the headphone should still be fair bit cheaper than other places if not by far. According to the sales, the offer end this sunday 29/11/2009

No more Sennheiser IE7 btw (at least the one in QV), coz i bought the last pair~heh..I think i was quite lucky, coz not many place has them in stock and I just decided to look for one~lol

  • Did they only have sennheiser + sony like most HN? Lower end sennheisers are still quite expensive iirc even if there is a 40% discount compared to something like ultimate ears f100 /f150's

    • Wow 40% off at HVN! That'll be almost RRP then :)

where is it? QV? never heard about this shop name

    • It's in the city, near cnr Russel and Lonsdale in Melb…

  • How much were the 7 and 8s? What do they sound like?

    • IE 7 is $449.96 before discount (I think another $100 extra for IE8). After 40% off, it is $269.98 and i will let you do the math for IE8. They sounds simply brilliant. I have read through several reviews. Though "sound" is a bit subjective, the average score for this set is far higher than average. Many reviewers said it's a very competent all arounder which i agree.

IMO, perhaps at $450, you probably better off go after something else, but at $269, the built quality and the sound from this IE7 set is unbeatable.

  • this should make the metro.fi's more affordable for those who want an intro into canalphones.

  • this is in harvey norman right?

  • Heh, you misspelled the name incorrectly. It's jocularly called either Hardly Normal or Harvey Moron.

Ok, ok, put that lawyer down, it's Harvey Norman.

  • I find it funny that they chose to name headphones IE6, IE7 and IE8 :P (Firefox ftw!)

  • Prices are still cheaper online with low usd.

Harvey Norman qv has some shire too but only 15% off.

    • Really? after a night of testing, I actually returned the IE7 this morning coz somehow I felt really nauseous after listening to a few songs. Then I bought a set of Shure SE310 instead and it's still 40% off?

BTW, I think Shure SE310 has a clearer sound definition, but a lot less bass for sure. For me, it's "easier" to listen to. But still, such a shame that i can't put up with the IE7 strangely, the sound is very rich and i like the packaging and overall design.

      • can u acttually return the earphone u used?

  • do they stock sennheiser HD-25 by any chance?

    • Mn…I don't think I saw that model in the QV store.

  • You could most likely go to another store and get it price matched too.

Another bloody NSW or VIC person posting an abbreviation of a suburb/street/region in the city they live in, assuming everyone in the whole country knows what the hell it means. This is OZbargain, not MelbBargain.
Open up your mind and realise you're not the centre of the universe.

Can a mod please edit the title and description. City and/or state is necessary for all deals posted.

hmm … most of the deals posted here are in / from Melbourne :) … maybe there should be a spin-off MelbBargain … LOL

      • Actually I find that most of the tech deals are from NSW, fluidtek +9289 , and the major online retailers like topbuy/shoppingsquare with huge shipping or free pickup

    • I can't find it on the map, where in Melbourne is NSW?
and why do they not have vowels??
      ^^

      • I sense some humour and/or sarcasm in your post, but i'm struggling to understand what you're trying to say? :?

  • AWESOME =]

  • QV!! I just got back from Melbourne and I saw the sales too…Metro.Fi for $38 bucks. Bargain.

  • Is the Sale still on?
