  • 1st Choice has it for $189.90, Dan Muprhys for $194.90.

    But given that the RRP is $250 - $290, then $199 is still a reasonable price.

  • Ouch! $199 for a blend containing over 15 different scotches. Better to buy Dad a nice single malt. Go for a nice bottle of Glenmorangie, official Scotch Whisky supplier to Scottish Parliament. Dad will love you all the more for it.

  • Again, are you sure that it is not around 179.00 for 1.125 Litres in duty free?
    Still a good price.

    Best bet is a nice drop of Talisker. 10 YO for $74 you can't go wrong and IMHO better than Johnnie blue. Use the leftover $100 to pay down your credit card which you just smashed due to Ozbargain.

    Why anyone would spend that much on 750 ml of liquid is beyond my comprehension.

    • Just because you don't understand the product/can't afford it doesn't mean it deserves a neg.

    • Ever used a printer? HP ink is US$8,000 per gallon, or AU$2,200 per liter.

      If $200 for 750mL is beyond your comprehension, then Macallan 1926 Fine and Rare would knock you out cold.

  • Have bought several bottles of this for work, usually @ $250 - $280.. So @ $200 - good deal.. CHEERS :}
