  • Yeah good deal! nice saving and you can pay by paypal.

  • Great Deal!!!

  • lovely mocks + cards at $2

  • Just placed my order for 2 'electronics' Mocks. Came to 5 bucks including postage! (Would have been $30)
    Great offer - cheers!

Is this really such a great deal though? Not sure how anyone can justify spending $2 on a sock for a mobile phone…seems like a complete waste of money to me, exactly the opposite of a "bargain".

    • You make a good point, it is something that could be made for yourself with a piece of left over material, but you compare it to other similar products (I am thinking iPod socks) and they are an absolute bargain.
(for the record, I bought some!)

  • was going to order 7 items, but no https encryption when entering credit card info at checkout (they use standard http), so i bailed :)

    • +2

      Use paypal :)

  • damn this product bombed =P
ipod cases must have ruined a bunch of people who invested in them.
like what do you do with 10,000 unsold ipod cases? sell them off for 1c with free postage lol

    • so true lol - I guess people didnt keep count of how many ipods sold because making 5 million cases for only 3 million ipods sold etc is just asking for trouble.

      • Actually i was thinking that , but then look at the trend of people buying them they seem to buy at least 1-5 for almost 1 phone/person

  • Awesome.. Ordered a couple. Thank you for posting this…

Just a question to those who paid using Paypal, did your orders show up on the Mocks website yet? All I got after I paid was an email from Paypal authorising the payment to be transferred across.

    • Yeah, I have realised that I haven't received an order confirmation from Mocks yet either…

      • I also paid by Paypal and it says I haven't placed any orders and the items still appear in my cart.
Have either of your orders appeared in 'My Orders' on their website yet JasRule63 or kupkes?

        • I have placed an order last night but didnt receive any confirmation email from Mocks either? I have received an email from paypal thats it, how can we confirm our orders?

        • Same, my Paypal transaction is listed as pending. No email from Mocks confirming order and on the Mocks website, the items are still listed in checkout…

          • @mightyhawks23: I got an email from Paypal showing that I authorised payment to Mocks but no order confirmation from Mocks. Same as above.

          • @mightyhawks23: Same here as well. I sent them a customer service message inquiring about the problem, hopefully they'll be able to reply and confirm whether or not the order went through.

        • I checked out with their 'guest account'. They did still show up in My Cart after I had finished the paypal order though.
It is the first paypal site I have used that didn't redirect back to the site for a confirmation.

        • My payment has gone through, yet I still have no confirmation of the order, and it still doesn't show up in My Orders.

  • some of the designs are totally gross. Just bought a white, black and grey mock for $7.50

I can't believe these things are selling for $10 or more at normal price. They would cost only a few cents to make in China.

Anyone with a paltry $250 lying around might be interested in this one!
    http://mockstore.com/review/product/list/id/47/category/51/

There appears to be major sockpuppeting going on at their website in the product comments. And to think the founder and CEO Lara Solomon "has been a finalist in the Telstra Young Business Woman of the Year Awards in 2005 and 2008, winner of the Australian Businesswomens Network New Business Award in 2005…"

    • The irony is that the sockpuppeting is happening on a website with socks…

  • mmm.. i bought 3 mocks and there was a "fixed rate" on postage which is $7

    -_-

  • Thanks, thats a lot of gift shopping done thanks to you.

  • My GF likes the teddy (furry) ones so I bought about 15 different ones for her and my sisters. If they don't like em I won't be out of pocket much. Pretty good deal I think.

  • How come they don't have the sizing? Does anyone know if there's much difference between the sizing of the regular and electronic mocks?

Nevermind… I found it in the FAQ :) The electronic mocks become $1.50 with the code.

  • when is this sale on till?

  • the bunny one is a great gift, lol

  • Thanks for the post, got three for 5.97 AUD delivered!!!

  • 2 mocks and a Twister for $5.88!
    Thanks.

  • +1

i won one from their site in a comp they run and seriously what a waste of money.

  • Nice !

  • Which size is best for an iPhone?

    • That would be the 'Electronics' Mock. they come down to $1.50 with the discount. I got one for my iPod :o)

  • when can we receive the item

  • I can't see anywhere to put the code. There's no box for any coupons or codes. Is it after they direct you to Paypal?

    • im already on the order review section, and stil havent seen where to enter the discount code yet=/
i dont want to end up paying 100 for my mocks

      • +1

When you add an item to your cart, it takes you to a page when you can view all the items in your cart. At the bottom it says "Sub Total" "Grand Total" in pink and then below that "Discount Code" and has a little box. Put it in there, press "go" and then "Proceed to Checkout"

        • sweet! got it.
          thanks!

  • hmmm, any suggestion with how to get the cheap postage? my postage came to $114!

    • How many mocks did you order, 114??? My order came up as $1 postage per item.

  • anyone used credit card?

  • Nice one! I found Mocks Environmental Friendly Bag for 10 cents each…

  • Good stuff, thank you.

  • Ordered 12 for $25.42, including shipping.
Will make great xmas pressents. =)

    • Not if you want to keep your friends ;)

  • agree the designs are lame but i bought 3 haha

I ordered last night, and received Paypal confirmation…but when I logged in just then the status of my order is CANCELLED!!!! :( :( Anyone else have the same??

    • I logged on as 'guest' when I did the purchase through Paypal, so I couldn't check the status of my order. However, I gave them a call to see whether they've received my order, and they did. Like some of the others, I didn't receive a confirmation from Mocks either, but only a transaction record from Paypal.

I've been told that my order will be delivered in about 3 days time. I'm heaps excited!! :D

    • Rang them and it's all good, must be some glitch which says it's cancelled but it's all fine. Order will be shipped in a few days.

I ordered 8 of the Mockouture socks for a little under 2 grand. Had to take out a 2nd mortgage, but it's worth it to have a collection of weird socks with ugly attachments protecting my $100 phone. :p

In the words of Ricky Gervais; "Are you 'aving a laugh?"

$250 for a little sock bedazzled with some cheap beads? $217 for a little sock with a piece of fabric wrapped around it? You need your head checked if you buy one of those.
I can't believe the gaul of Mocks, trying it on. I guess they're counting on some trashy rich people to buy one.

I will have a look and buy a few of the regular ones though. I wish they had dimensions though, cause i've got a large phone (nokia 5800).

    • +2

Dimensions are in the FAQ. Mocks are 10cm (h) x 5cm (w) and the electronic ones are 14cm high and 8cm wide and they also stretch.

  • order in for 2 mocks :)

  • Hard to find where to put the code, it is in the shopping list(not in the check out)

I got a confirm email so it should be alright.

  • I'd like to know how long this sale lasts for as well..

If my first order fits, might buy a few more. =)

  • -1

got my mocks yesterday. Awesome stuff, big problem though is that they are a little too large for my E71.
Back to using my OEM pouch i suppose.

    • +1

WTF i have an e71, and its quiet large, i would assume it should fit it fine.

      mine should arrive soon.

  • Just received my Mocks :)
But they gave me the rainbow mock rather than the pink rainbow mock. Also found a hole in one of them. Oh wellz … I'm still happy with the price though! :)

  • +1

Almost forgot … 50% off Sponge Bob Mocks before 31/03/2010 … use the code "SB10" at the checkout.

  • Mine just arrived today. Thank you

  • Got mine today as well; they never replied to my query whether they got the order or not but all good in the end.

  • Recieved.
Issue. Ordered 11, 2 are wrong - they sent me replacements for the one I ordered w/o telling me!

On another note, you can get 2 "mocks" for about $3. They're made from the same material as baby's socks.

  • Received mine today.

They fit my LG Renoir surprisingly-well, even though it looks deceptively-small. Electrical mock is stretched a bit by my DS but it can still go in.

  • mocks are ballin. I ordered enough to last me well into my grave…
