Click the link, as the OP mentioned select Melbourne Avalon as the departure airport and "hey presto" the $29 flights with travel dates are listed.

There are several dates that you can travel on for each destination and each is listed separately i.e. Avalon to Hobart is $29 for each of the 3 travel periods. EVERY destination has different travel dates.

It's because of people like jv that they have to remove the 4c off prices at petrol stations

          @slimdavy5:

they have to remove the 4c off prices at petrol stations

Both our Coles and Woolies still have the 4c off…

        • Looks like someone's never booked a flight online before…

      What's the usual price?

      • -1

$29 to $39 based on the posts over the last year or two…

  • Any Japan flights?

    • I didn't spot any out of Melbourne or Brisbane. Gold Coast to Tokyo was listed as $349, but that was under their previous special fare (not part of the Easter sale).

  • I'm trying to book 2 adults 2 child
How do I choose checked baggage for just 2 adults
Only gives option to do for all
Don't want to pay for all checked baggage if we wont use it

    • There should be an option to customise each passenger. From memory you have to tick to select passenger and individual add ons

    • They try to sell you their bundles up front but there's an option for individual baggage further down the process just before you pay.

Great prices for some routes but I find there's more room on a council bus than Jetstar/Tiger these days.

Couldn't track down some Virgin or QF bargains by any chance, for the tall OzBargainers could you TA?

  • Thanks Op, booked Sydney to Honolulu in August for $249 each way.

  • Thanks OP! Includes Sydney to Melbourne (Tullamarine) flights over Spring Racing Carnival for $55 each way. Oaks Day here I come :)

You can also stay out after 10pm, double bonus

  • So when i choose a deal that I want, I get taken to this page http://www.jetstar.com/au/en/popups/sale-find-flight but from there it will not load the search options… it even looks like the search page doesnt load properly and the date picker doesnt work… it is an empty text box.

    Anyone else having issues?

  • Did anyone see Bali/Townsville flights for $75 as part of this Easter sale?
    Crazy!

I found $184 return in May.

  • $199 to Bangkok is a great deal especially given that the time frame for available flights in really nudging into the "high" season when airlines like to "capitalize." For me deal done, just waiting for return flights to go on sale.

  • Was looking at flights in Apr at midday, went to price match the 15:10 from Syd but they changed the schedules!
