  Getting Bitdefender 6mths free (and then again and again) doesn't work anymore. Now I prefer Kaspersky Internet Security - 3 PCs, 2 years for $19. Not as cheap as the $4 deal earlier this week (5 devices, 1yr), but still a good price.

        Plenty of shonks making money out of other people's software (some apparently legitimate Indian websites for example) but I prefer to give at least a little to legitimate sellers, which he may well be. I'll wait and see what BD says.

        @PW: didn't buy from him. BD support has replied to me with some totally irrelevant info. Seems standard fare for these online support people. Comprehension isn't a pre-requisite for the job apparently. I've sent them his ebay link and left it there.

        I wouldn't buy anything from some unknown sellers from Ebay especially on digital products where Paypal won't give refunds. I just received an email from BD and offered me a 3pc 1 year license for a low US$19.94. I might order from them instead.

    dont trust free antivirus programs no matter who makes them,Ive been burnt with them before
