I'm going to need 4 new tyres for the wifes run-around wagon (MB '02 ML270 CDI). Will need the alignment checked too. I'm in Melbourne.
It currently has 275/55/R17 Pirelli Scorpion Zeros all round. But I think they are quite expensive (came with the car). I'd prefer a well known brand name but don't really want to spend more than a k. They need to be 109 load rating too. I can also go down to a 255/60/R17 as they were an option when new, though I'd prefer the wider size. It never sees any dirt so highway only tyres are the order of the day.
Also I have never bought tyres in Oz before, so any general tips/tricks would be greatly appreciated.
