Original post goes to https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/247763 but have been after a cheap dryer as we enter winter and one that can do queen sized sheets. Yes its a no name brand (Genuine Sorny), yes its only 2 star rating (its a dryer .. they suck energy), yes its likely to go bung just after the warranty period (if masters is still around then!). Going to give it a go as Im sick of trying to dry sheets across the ducted heating vents in Melbourne.

Unfortunately C&C only, although the dimensions mean I should be able to fit it in the back of a 4wd or hatch.

  I bought one at full price recently, and it works very well.

  It is a sensor model, and vents the outlet air to the front (lower left).

  It's only got a 12 months warranty. Just buy the 2 Year additional warranty in store for $39.90… it's handled by an outside company, and is a full "new-for-old" replacement.

    Would you be able to say how loud the unit is? I have a 10 year old dryer and it's very loud (best described as a hairdryer on full)

  +'ed for the description. Just thought I'd throw this in, while we're on the subject of dryers. For anyone interested in a heat pump dryer, I noticed this Electrolux that TGG eBay are doing, works out to $1224 C&C, which is a nice price for a name brand 6 star HP dryer.
