They're $1.15 at Coles. Why is this getting pos voted…

    • Was 2.89 at mine yesterday..

    • +4

All I can see on coles website is:
      100 pack for $2.41
      400 pack for $4.94

EDIT: Oh, you were referring to coles homebrand for $1.15, my bad.

      • +7

It's not 'your bad' at all. Sage never specified what he was referring to so from his words it looks like he's referring to the exact same product, which is obviously incorrect. So it's actually 'his bad'. No need to take the blame for other peoples laziness or misleading info.

The deal is titled Swisspers Cotton Tips, not Generic Cotton Buds.

Free shipping @ Super Pharmacy this weekend also has this deal - https://www.superpharmacy.com.au/products/quality-health-vit…
    500mg Vitamin C 200pk (Australian made) for $8.95 delivered - this http://www.chemistwarehouse.com.au/Buy/43211/Cenovis-Vitamin… is $5.99 for reference.

  • Nice one. Are these cotton buds much better quality than the generics?
I find the cheaper ones are quite hard and don't have much cotton

    • +1

Yes. I will happily buy home brand for most products, but not these. The jump in quality is worth it.

  • -2

The home brand & generic ones actually damage your ears (Push the wax deeper) , Get Johnsons or Swispers better quality

    • +1

Nothing to do with the brand.
Cotton tips are not supposed to be shoved in your ears (although everyone does it)

  • Hey buds,

    Heh :)

Good for cleaning microchips with acetone, not so good for your ears (especially with said acetone).

My mum kept buying really cheap versions from asian shops and once the end fell off while it was in my ear. Had to walk around with it for a day or two until one of my mum's friends who was a nurse, could get it out with extended tweezers. This is the day I took responsibility of cleaning my own ears and started buying good quality cotton buds. At the moment I'm using Woolworths Select Brand 100% pure cotton.

tl;dr dont buy cheap cotton buds

    • Same with me. Cotton tip loose. Buy good quality only please.

    • +1

Or don't stick them in your ear :)
Use a wash or oil or ear picker….

  • Received mine today :) (in Melb)

  • Got it yesterday. Thanks!
