It's back!…not quite as cheap though…
Similar if not the same as the one that popped up a month or so ago.

        Yeah I was lucky enough to receive the 6 cell. It seems quite a fair number of people got 6-cell, but 3-cell is the norm

    about 3 weeks ago, I was told by a HN store these still had 3 cell batteries, and the backfill order from the $198 sale had 6 cells only

    altho would be a bonus if these did indeed come with 6 cell

      Mine only arrived a few weeks ago and I got a 3 cell. Store manager checked next batch, personally opening up each box and they each came with a 3 cell too. Acer rep told him they only shipped with 3 cells, but maybe that was specific to WA.

    I got a 6 cell from the back order. My cash back says 20th June. I don't think my Acer came with Bluetooth.

    I bought one from the first sale, love it to bits,

    I got a 3 cell battery but more ideal for me, still over 3 hours of life.

    Only downside is no Bluetooth, and therefore a tiny usb bluetooth adaptor hogs 1 of the 3 usbs.

    Great little travel companion for anyone considering it.

    Great deal.

      No bluetooth and the sound is terrible. no matter what I did I couldnt make it louder and clearer.

      if you're not wearing headphones watching something is near impossible with this netbook.

    Looks like only North Ryde store. The Sydney CBD store does NOT have this offer. Their price is $339.

    Anyone been to the North Ryde store yet???? Please confirm two things:
    1. 3 or 6 Cell.
    2. Bluetooth.

    As the Sydney CBD store does NOT have the above.

    I bought one this morning at nth Ryde

    They had signs around saying seen something cheaper elsewhere ? this gives me impression that they would price match so i would try that line, also JB hifi price match so take the ad to them and ask for the same or just pull it up on their pc at the store ;)

      yeah my dad managed to get one in nowra. wasnt advertised and the guy just said 'yeah i can do that'. probably couldve got it for less. the sales guy also threw in a free 4gb usb stick and extra warranty for $30.

    I bought one last night from HN in Martin Place for $275. There were a couple of different prices displayed so they gave me 16% the price displayed on the display model. For $236 after cash back its an ideal low cost (i.e. not a disaster if its lost or stolen) netbook for weekends away etc. The build quality is perfectly adequate and its nice and quiet.
