VelocityRewards Westfield $50 Gift Card for 6,500 Points (Normally 7,250)

80

Velocity Rewards (Virgin's Frequent Flyer Program) have a special introductory offer on $50 Westfield Gift Vouchers at the moment.
6,500 points while stock lasts, will revert to 7,250 points when stocks are exhausted.
Other $50 Gift Cards in the Rewards store range from 6,700 (Myer) up to 7,400.

The Westfield Gift Card can be used at over 6,000 retailers within Westfield centres.

From what I can work out, it seems to be the most bang for "buck" way of spending your points.

Only useful if you already have Velocity Points banked away of course.

Some retailers may choose not to accept the gift card. This includes the Coles Group (with the exclusion of Kmart), Myer and the Woolworths Group

The title is misleading, although that's exactly what it said on the website.
I thought that was free $50 gift card from Velocity Reward but actually it was NOT.

    • Reads OK to me. It says '… for 6,500 points'.

    • no.

    • I can't see any FREE word in OP post… I think you miss-read :D

  • Do all Coles and Woolworths not accept the Westfield cards even though they are in Westfield centres?

    • Understandably so as they have their own competing Coles Group card and Wish Gift card. Another example is that prepaid debit Mastercard issued by ANZ is not acceptable at Woolies as they also promote the Woolworths prepaid debit Mastercard. Commercial realities.

    • rumour has it, coles group will be accepting it soon :)
