  Costco sell the US version for $150, I bought it about 3 years ago and it's a cracking BBQ at a cracking price!

        That's definitely a no brainer then. Adding a thermometer is easy, and I use a digital temp probe anyway. Will have to suss them out next time I get brought along to costco!

        IIRC it also does not come with the hinged grates, charcoal baskets, and the lid doesn't have the hook underneath that you can use to hang it off the BBQ when you need the lid off

  Remember that there's a hack for turning that into a taller BBQ, if you're into US-style, slow-cooked BBQ (AKA "Redneck Sous Vide").
