Samsung Galaxy S9 (64GB, Titanium Grey, Direct Import) $747.99 @ Dick Smith eBay

950
PICKSMITH

Not sure if it's the cheapest or not, but seems like a reasonable price even for a grey import. Long postage time which isn't great.

Midnight Black at that price as well. Possibly a price error, and they're still not the cheapest on eBay right now…

$935 before discount for grey import. Why would that be a price error?

        • $935 - 20% =…

@aja12: do you not understand the concept of an entry error, or are you just bored on a Saturday?

        • +4

@jasswolf: Do you not understand that the price was revised (lowered) on the 28th - after the PICKSMITH code was active, and the $815.19 price you are quoting is in the subtitle, which would require manually changing?

Do you not understand “Pay only AU $747.99 [ Show me how ]”?

Do you not understand basic maths?

Do you not understand what the price is checkout?

Do you not understand that you pay $747.99?

Don’t waste your 5 neg votes for today on my logical posts.

the 256gb ($919.19) version of the S9+ is cheaper then the 128gb ($935.19) version.

    might be worth a mention

  • Is this snapdragon 845 or exynos. It doesn't say on the description

    • Does SD version even have Australian bands?

      • Yep it should. Would gladly take the SD over the Exynos, speaking as an Exynos S9 owner with woeful battery life.

        • Yep it should. Would gladly take the SD over the Exynos, speaking as an Exynos S9 owner with woeful battery life.

Really? I remember with S7 people prefer Exynos over SD.

          @superforever:
Exynos was better in the S8 too,I actually prefer it to the one in the S9.Snapdragon is killing it this year

        • @superforever: Yep! My S7 was fine. It is a bit embarrassing the S9 Exynos has the same battery life and at times performance as the S7 though. Lots of in depth analysis at Anandtech.

    • As a general rule, all dual SIM variants of the S9 and S9+ have an Exynos chip. If you're worried about your phone being compatible with all Aussie bands, the Exynos version is the one to get.

    • It says it could be either

      Performance
      CPU
      Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor (2.8GHz + 1.7GHz), or Octa-core Samsung Exynos 9810 (2.7 GHz + 1.7 GHz)

  • How do you go about claiming for warranty if the product has some problems?

    • Call support and raise a ticket.

Anyone know how to transfer large files (video) from an android device to a macbook? I'm like.. why is this so hard?
Android file transfer is crap. Commander one doesn't do anything.

  • Got friend using s7 constantly having problems, will these be better?

    • +3

Must be an isolated case. I have been using S7 for over a year, going flawlessly.

    • +1

Yeah I have been using S7 edge for over two years since release, worked flawlessly although there were slow downs from time to time. New Oreo update gave it a new lease on life, buttery smooth!

    • Have seen a couple of odd issues with the S7, one being faulty camera and one being boot loop. Both were replaced and other units have been fine. Was not aware of any systemic issues with the S7.

Need purple for my fiancée. Otherwise not interested

  • Is it worth buying this stock and how does the warranty applies for this in australia? Please advise thanks.

    • +1

12 month warranty through Dick Smith. Samsung Australia will not help.

Amaysim offers 24 month warranty on their phones if you want longer than 12.

  • Damn, just after I bought it on the ebay deal of $799 :/

    • ebay deal was better for local warranty

  • Got my s9 today
    For those who are curious
    I got a s9 black 64gb (SM - G960F )
Came with a kogan aust adapter and Kogan sim.

Looks like the phone was sourced from Italy. Had some .it webpages bookmarked.
Also has some Vodafone app thing preloaded ( that can't be removed),also Italian when opened.
