Thank you, this is great. Needed to get some more Nexgard tabs for golden boy. Discount applied no problems.

just an fyi, i find thevetshed (and sometimes petcircle) much, much cheaper even without coupons/cashback - specifically for bravecto, maybe yours are too… ymmv good luck

      • +1

Those prices look amazing. In this instance, with the 30% off coupon, PetBarn worked out much better, but in future thevetshed looks like a great alternative (haven't looked at PetCircle). Thanks for the recommendation @Phat-Dave. Will check them out…

  • Are these guys going bust or something? Seems to have a sale every week.

    • +2

Even with these sale prices you can often find things cheaper on other websites so these sales aren't as good as you'd think.

  • Hrmm… Does it work online?
    Repeat deliver prices
    30% off
    Then 4.2% cashrewards

I think the catfood I buy is around 47.5% off retail.
Per kg price for 4kg bag is cheaper than 10kg bag from petcircle. (Petbarn don't seem to stock my pets 10kg version)

All righty…. Testing her out in the next 30mins

    ….
Off full price only… Still gona try anyway

    • i got a few bags of the K9 natural, applied 30% coupon + $10 loyalty coupon + 4.2% cashrewards .. almost made the $5 delivery fee palatable ;)

      • I'm trying to do the same. I can't see where to add the $10 loyalty coupon as it cancels out the 30% coupon. How did you do it?

    • Cashrewards won't work if you use codes not listed on website for Petbarn.

      • Is this condition confirmed Colombian? As I can’t see this condition mentioned in the cashrewards page below

        https://www.cashrewards.com.au/petbarn

        • It’s listed at the link you gave under guidelines.

        • @westical: I can’t see where “Guildlines” is on the link?

        • +1

@leockl: It's not visible on the mobile site.

This is 101 with cashback though. Merchants typically don't pay the cashback provider if you use a coupon not listed on the cashback website. They don't want to be losing TOO MUCH money.

You have nothing to lose by going through CR with unlisted coupons anyway. If they pay, you win.

        • @Clear: Thanks Clear

Yeah I was using their mobile site

I get cash back from ShopBack even when I use vouchers. Guess will be using more ShopBack from now onwards…

        • +1

@leockl: The same rules apply to Shopback! CR, SB and all other cashback websites use the same affiliate networks to earn a commission on your sale.

The merchants on these affiliate networks (e.g. Petbarn) decide if they want to pay the commission if a coupon has been used. If they decide yes, then the cashback website will earn their commission and pay you. If they decide no, then the cashback website will not earn their commission and you don't get paid.

Choosing Shopback today is going to make you save less.

        • @Clear: Ok thanks Clear, will keep that in mind not always get cash back when using vouchers for CR and SB!

I have been saving quite a bit lately especially with SB upsize cash back with the Groupon offers and also food delivery.

How would choosing SB today going to make me save less?

I haven’t totally abandoned CR, using both whichever giving me the highest cash back

        • @leockl: I was referring to this deal. 6% CR vs 4% SB.

        • @Clear: Yup for this deal CR is better!

Out of 6 things we normally buy, not one is in stock.
    Happens all the time

  • Hardly a sale… Petcircle and other sites are cheaper for my needs

    • Depends on what you are looking for. I usually buy breeders choice and ziwi peak, both of them are cheaper than Pet Circle when there is 30% off.

I have some vouchers here if someone wants them?

    $15 off $75 spend
    $20 off $100 spend
    $35 off $150 spend..

    Might be stackable?

    • I wouldn't mind trying the 150 code. I'm after a new pond pump.

    • Are those generic codes?

  • Thanks purchased a dog harness. Needed one asap.

    • Goooood boooooy!!

Their prices are outrageous. Science Diet Minced Cat Food 156g x24 is $88. Even with 30% discount it becomes $62, which is higher than Budget Pet Poducts selling it for $50.

  • 6% Cashback in Cashrewards?

  • I have a Jack Russell and a Jack Russell Terrier. I've never bought them tick prevention before, but my terrier was bitten by a paralysis tick a few months ago and nearly died, so I'd like to buy some for them. I've done some quick research and Bravecto seems to be the only one that has flea AND tick control, the others seem to be just flea and tapeworm etc? Should I buy my dogs one chew each or is there like drops or something instead that would work more effectively? I'm very unsure because like I said, I haven't bought tick prevention stuff before.

    • +1

You should give them both 1 each so that they're both covered for self closure, 1 should last 3 months and i'd recommend that over any other thing. However if you really want a drop, you can get frontline plus as a drop but it doesn't last as long at all, probably 2-3 weeks max for ticks. So i'd go for bravecto, better bang for your buck and if they really don't like it, you can pop it in their throat like a pill if they're not taking it at all, or mix it in with their food

    • +1

Isn't it cheaper with Nexgard Spectra 6 months? It is Flea, Tick, and Heartworm for 81 dollars? I used to remember I got it even cheaper sometimes in the year at like 70 ish but that was either boxing day sale or clickfrenzy.

  • Thanks OP!

  • Partner used this today. Dude at store was pissed about it - "where did you get this?", "do you work here?", "someone is going to be in big trouble". Lols

    • What do you mean?

      • Guy at the shop said it was meant to be for friends and family only. Was really pissed off about it apparently! Asking who sent the email, where it came from, etc. Still honoured the discount but wasn't happy about it.

        • yeah had the same issue, just said a friend worked at Greencross and is a vet. Silence after that.
