go to your local big retailers and ask
or if you are too shy
go through the recycle skip bins , they should have cardboard boxes

i like the big fruit boxes with matching lid that get thrown into the recycling bins at my local shopping centre. i pick a couple each time i go shopping. these aren't suitable for moving boxes but they're great for putting the shopping in and other uses around the home.

we have like heaps of boxes in our house from the shops

i have like a box full of stationary(pens, pencil, etc), and also i have a box full of magazine(recipes), and also a box full of papers(from previous years of school), it's so useful and organized

        • I've got a couple to store all my folders. Fruit boxes are cheap, easy to get and heavy-duty since they have to carry about 5~10 kg of fruit.

  • Bunnings have a shitload at the checkouts

    • I think you have to pay for them or buy something in store otherwise everyone would be going there to get cupboard boxes.

  • aldi has boxes as well

    • they've always got bits missing out of them though (odd shapes) …

  • i get mine from coles if i have too. Just approack then around 7pm and that's when they said they do their unpacking and stuff.

    • I just try the local Foodland store in Torrensville, SA. They have got two massive crates to hold the boxes.

    thanks for advices
I went to bunnings this afternoon, walked in then went to checkout area . There's a lot of empty boxes.
took 4 of them, and then at the exit door ONE GUY(i'm still remember his face never forget !) stopped me and told me not allowed to take empty boxes without buying anything. and i was like " ohh i didnt know that". and he said it really loud and totally embarassed me. can you imagine there's a lot of people in checkout area. He;s totally pissed me off. and i just walked out without saying something.
    and then
finally i bought them from storage kings.
    bunnings is a shit!

    • should've bought something cheap

that would be very very very rude
if someone done that to me, i would probably run with the boxes
      nah not really
probably i would find the CHEAPEST item @ bunnings(probably a pack of seeds) then take the rest of the boxes they have avaliable

    • That is a bugger!

Guy must be on a POWER TRIP!!!

I think u should have just asked one of the check out chicks before just taking them. In that way you wouldn't have embarrased yourself.

    • You are actually HELPING them… waste disposal / recycling is expensive!

I hate bunnings, the morons tried telling me that a car key doesn't have to be symmetrical for it to work! Uhh…I think their staff fell out of the 'intelligence' tree when the stork brought them and they hit every branch on the way down…head first!

Also, last time I asked a chick at a supermarket if she had a spare box I could use to move my stuff in…I got smacked :(
