Just received an e-mail about $5 games at AMF. It seems like it's open to everyone, rather than just roller members. (EDIT: You do need to be a roller member, but it's free to join and you can do so as you go through the cart)

Terms and conditions are as follows:

  • $5 games of bowling available only online.
  • $5 vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or coupon.
  • Limited to 10 games per online transaction.
  • $5 Games cannot be purchased in Centre and can only be purchased via our online store.
  • Valid to the 30th June 2011.
  • Games purchased cannot be redeemed during the School Holiday period.
  • Vouchers are non-refundable, not exchangeable for cash & cannot be resold.
  • The responsibility is on the holder to use this voucher before the expiry date.
  • This voucher does not guarantee a reserved lane.
  • Bookings are subject to availability and advance booking is recommended.
  • Full value of the $5 voucher must be redeemed in one visit.

      Confirmed with the staff at Blacktown that you can buy as many vouchers as allowed n use them for your friends..

    please correct me if i am wrong but is it $5 per person per game ?
    so if it is 4 of us then one game would cost us $20 ?
    it does not make much sense to me, so i would assume that i am wrong but where does it say how many people can play one game for $5 ? up to 4 ?

      Yeah, a game for 4 people would be $20.
      Otherwise we'd all invite our friends, family and neighbours to play one game for only $5!

        so $20 vs $3.

          yes as per below it was $3 per person per game and $5 is still a bargain regardless of any other previous bargain.

          4 ppl per voucher all paying #3 each per game with a maximum of 3 games. So $36 total for 4 people playing 3 games.

        Yes, its $5 per person per game.
        4 people would pay $20 unless u wanna play by yourself for $5 only..
        usually its $15 per person per game so its a good saving..

      last time i did this deal i was emailed the vouchers in a PDF soon after then printed them off (actually took a USB to the centre and they printed it off). Should be fine

        yeah
        once you go in store, they get you to fill in details of yourself, this is for AMF Roller membership

        but if you do not want that, you do not need to fill in details

    Has anyone used these yet? How does it work do I just buy out as many as I want print out the vouchers, invite my friends hand over the vouchers and play? Is it as simple as this?

    I got 8 vouchers and they emailed them straight away. we just printed them out and used them on the weekend.
    btw, even though it was for 4 people for 2 games, somehow it gave us 4 games! the lady at the counter said she doesnt know why it happened.
    Im not complaining.

      did they scan ur vouchers or enter details manually? our vouchers didnt seem to scan atall so the lady entered all the codes manually. maybe thats what the mixup was..

        yeah same thing happened to mine
        they weren't scanning properly so the Manager had to come and put the transaction through.
        I guess she knew more about the offer than the staff working there :|
