  I thought they were footsal (futsal?) shoes.

  Any shoes can be weighlifting shoes.

    When you take your lifting super seriously (lifting is life) it makes a big difference.

    The two key things are the non cushioned sole - so you don't sink into the shoe and the inclined heal.

      I've gymed 5 times a week since I was 18. Ive bought into the gimmicks. Shoes dont make much difference - but if they make you feel good go for your life.

      Id probably do the same if they were cheaper.

        Once you use them, you'd change your opinion.

        There is a reason pretty much all powerlifters use them.

        Have to disagree, the shoes are designed specifically to provide a slightly elevated stable platform which enables genuine lifters to have a better squat pattern and lift more weight.

        These shoes are even great for people starting out who have ankle or hip mobility issues.

        Give them a try, if you do a full depth squat they will change your life.

        Look at Olympic lifters they all wear them… Because they make a difference.

  Thanks. Was going to buy a pair full price, because my current Reebok's were hurting that much (too small when feet swell in heat).

  Just grabbed the pair and the colour is the best of the current colourways.

  Legend! Wanted some for a while but could never justify the cost. $137 made it a no brainer. I'm usually a 10.5 in most Nike shoes but I went 10 in these

  Had a bad syndesmosis injury a few years back and my ankle has never quite been the same. No more squatting with plates under my heals haha

  Received my shoes. Went down to size 10 (usually a 10.5 in Nike runners) and they feel fine. Strange that they came from the Netherlands initially.
