Don't forget Maccas have free honey so you could make a Pickle, Honey and Mustard Burger!

    • +14

      Game changer

      • +4

Literally makes everything better. Honey fries, honey ice cream, honey frozen coke, honey cookies, honey coffee and even honey grape tomatoes.

    • +1

      Free butter and jam also!

      • +2

Now we need a sandwich deal. Remove everything but the buns and order those with it.

      • Do they give you the free honey and jam in those little plastic tubs with the foil lids?

        • No just sachets.

    • Is it real honey or fake honey like the maple flavoured syrup?

How much do you think I can sell the honey for on WeChat?

      • +1

Real Heinz honey. Slap Manuka on there and pair it with Weetbix or baby formula and you'll be rich!

  • but how do we get it.
what is this $2 Quarter Pounder deal?

    • It's in the rewards tab under the Maccas app

  • You have been banned from Ozbargain

    • +28

Nah, this is OzBargain Platinum material.

  • +13

    Take the beef patty out

    No bloody way!

  • +8

Add a hash brown and it's quality vegan food lol

    • +3

You'd have to remove the cheese as well.

      • +2

It's not vegan unless you cut the cheese…

    • +14

      Why?
This is a great meat free burger.

      • -3

.. Did you just use "great" and "meat free" in the same sentence?!? ;P

        • Yes I deliberately did.

  • Lol one day deal

    • +1

      Like many deals are

      • -1

Can’t just justify doing this, I mean I don’t think we are going to have bunch of ozbaraginers lining up for this? I doubt few will do this, and if you do make sure to take a selfie!

    • +70

      2 cents?
How'd you manage to screw that up because it's free for everyone else

    • +5

      Why?

I know plenty of people who regularly order burgers without the meat.

Today they can do it for free.

      • +6

You do? We must run in very different circles lol

        • +3

There's nothing wrong with not wanting to eat meat

          • -1

@spaceflight: There are vegetarian burgers I believe.

            • +3

@[Deactivated]: Not at maccas there isn’t..

              • @rodb: Must be one of the other burger joints I've seen them in. I guess they always have salad for vegetarians but not a good destination for non herbivores

          • @spaceflight:

There's nothing wrong with not wanting to eat meat

There's a difference between not wanting to eat meat, and going to McDonalds and ordering a burger without the meat.

    • -1

I somewhat agree with you. In US someone in the government pretend to be cops to get cheap meals off maccas lost his job and also respect and dignity for rest of his life

      • +2

‘Lost his job, respect, dignity for the rest of his life’

        😂😂😂 take it easy man

    • +1

      Settle down tiger

    • +6

it's macdonalds though who takes dignity into account when youre going to fricken MACDONALDS

    • +4

This is so bad and very embarrassing for someone to do, if you don’t care for your dignity go ahead no body is stoping you, my profile is way more valuable that doing this just to save a few dollars

In your imagination that is the case. In reality no one cares and you barely register for two seconds before they never think about you again.

      • +2

        100%

      • +5

In fact you would be more likely to get a chuckle out of the staff and maybe even a "well played" type comment before they moved on. Do things like this on a regular basis you may become a local legend and get comments such as "no special deals today huh?" when you order something normal. Maybe its just me but when I do something like this I like to make fun of myself and try and lighten the day of people working there.

    • What profile?

    • Ha wow I've never considered what my profile looks like while ordering maccas. Hell I've been known to be missing various bits of clothing sometimes.

  • +3

    Mmm pickle and mustard burger

    • +3

You can also add extra ketchup x 5 for free!

      • +1

        Big baller.

      • +1

        Mmm sloppy

  • +1

Someone needs to do this and have a mate to film it

  • +1

Sell the beef patty for me for $2

  • +16

For those in Brisbane, the meat patty is worth $3, so you can get a free frozen coke to go with your free meatless burger.

I created 100,000 different maccas profiles got a mustard pickle burger from each one, sold the buns to a bread company, pickles to a pickle company, etc… long story short I made a cool million on this.
    Broden for the win!

    • +2

And donate this to the homeless. You will be on the papers in no time.

Surely Harvey Norman will name you professional again. But this time is Ronald McDonald himself

If you get that 25 cents each even better

"Professional beats McDonald's Rewards, free meal for homeless, salvation army says thanks "

      • -4

I’m already on the papers and judging by your spelling/grammar so are you.
Broden reference is lost on you. Know your ozbargain

If this is an attempt at humour/sarcasm/irony, I personally dont find it any of those. I wont wrtie down what I think of it. Surely Im not the only one who thinks this?

  • +1

    Really?

  • +18

If you're cheap enough to do this you'd might as well scout the tables for leftovers while you're at it.

    • +5

      It's called plate surfing

    • +4

Its the thrill of finding a hack on their menu! Nothing to do with being a cheapskate. There are many websites and articles just on McDonald's menu hacks.

      • +4

Could you share one of those websites? Asking for a friend…

      • +2

The thrill of finding a menu hack pales in comparison to the thrill of finding a mostly uneaten cheeseburger under a pile of crumpled napkins.

  • +2

Just got four burger from 4 different accounts.

You can't get burger by itself so add Big Mac sauce to make due amount of $0.25.

    • Got me thinking.

I would get a Quarter Pounder with one account and a Big Mac Sauce with free McFlurry on a new one. I don't know if they would treat me funny though if I order both at once.

  • +36

    Please no…

  • What about the cheese

  • +2

Technically you should ask for an extra 25 cents from McDonald's…

I'd be wanting a damn sight more than 25 cents before I'd eat that monstrosity!

  • +10

    This. This is peak OzBargain.

    • +2

No. peak Ozbargain is buying an article at Coles as part of a flybuys promotion and getting more value in points back than the item cost.

    • +3

Please, no dark sarcasm in the OzB classroom.

  • Now replace the buns with sesame seed sprinkled lettuce leaves and we'll be talking.

  • +2

we had some fun bought few patties free burgers with -$0.25 charged on these transactions. anyone experienced if an actual 25 cents credit will come towards your card at all?
