[NSW] Various Peter's Connoisseur 1 Litre Ice Cream $3.50 (Was $10) @ Coles Budgewoi, Central Coast

530

An Ozbargain staple.
Quite simply put, the best ice cream an Ozbargainer can ask for.

Found at Coles Budgewoi on the Central Coast.

See here for image showing other freezer. (There's more in the freezer than the picture lets on)
$3.50, save $6.50 (65%)

Hopefully it's at other stores too (main reason I posted this, so report back if so) but didn't ask anyone at Coles as I was with people (lame excuse I know xD)

Happy hunting and eating :)

PS - what's everyone's favourite flavour?

  • How much are the reeses I am interested in trying those out.

    • Sorry I'm not entirely sure but I think they are being cleared out also.
      I think $4, save $4 but not 100% certain.

      • No problem but now the suspense is thrilling me :)

Knowing reeses it will probably be too strong for me.

Thanks pp98 great bargain never seen them below $4.50 or $0.45/L recently.

Only home brand gets this low or basic stuff like pure chocolate or vanilla flavour.

God forbid you very napolitana.. Shivers

        • Haha yeah I didn't pay that much attention at all to them as I don't like peanut butter.

Yeah, hopefully it's available at more locations (or road trip :D)

Yeah there's little variety and quality at this price point, so it's great to have awesome ice cream at a good price :)

Cheapest ever? (other than Matcha which is …let's try and forget Matcha shall we).

  • Pistachio was the best flavour but you can't buy it any more AFAIK. That peanut butter ice cream is disgusting (IMHO).

    • In my opinion, the Coles peanut butter ice cream is pretty good. I'm guessing you're referring to the Reese's crap.

has anyone ever tried the vanilla?
    is it just thicker?

    • It's more like a French vanilla.. not bad though when it's on sale

      • yeah, as i thought
it's just i can't justify buying vanilla when it's $5/6 a litre when choc fudge or cookies and cream exists

        • Yeah vanilla can be bad for under $2/L normally but sometimes the premium taste is just nice.

But 3x the price nice I don't think so.

If they bring back the Matcha I will do cheat day right away

If they upped the matcha flavour, I would do a cheat week

Murray River Salted Caramel is amazing.

Budgewoi rocks. Many years ago they had a burger shop that made burgers the size of a small pizza. Was a must stop travelling north. Bit off topic but great memories.

  • My favourites are
Sumatran Coconut with Chocolate Fudge Sauce
    And
Murray River Salted Caramel With hazelnut

They used to have Peanut Butter & Pretzel which is no longer available but one of the best ones

  • Anyone checked if it is available in other stores?

    • And in Vic?

  • This just reminded me crush this up with some Ferrero Rocher.. Feel like a baller diabeetus here we come

  • Not at my local which is the closest Coles to the shop in OP.

    • Decrypted meaning?

So in other words it's not available at Coles Toukley or something.

Of course the correct answer is cookies and cream

    • With toasted waffles and whip cream.

  • Caramel Honey Macadamia is DEEEEEE-LICIOUS!

  • No Matcha no deal

  • bring back the Connoisseur Ice Cream Matcha Green Tea - Best flavour ever!!
