    FYI Serious Sam HD: Gold Edition was US$3.99 at xmas sale. 90% off.

    So may be a wait till bigger sales

    this game is always discounted on steam. Seen it come down in price loads, I never really clicked with it. Only played the Demo but the simplistic old style shooter game play doesn't do it for me any more - games have come a long way since Doom. Still a decent price for anyone keen on the game, what does the Gold edition have to offer?

      From what I can tell the Gold Edition includes the two HD versions and the two original versions. If you don't care about the originals you can grab the Serious Sam HD: Double Pack for $7.49 which just includes the two HD versions.
