  • Good price. I paid around $35 for the one I have. It's a good little speaker. Great when you're travelling because it's small and the sound quality is decent.

  • Nice, any idea how long this will be discounted?

They must have dropped the price just now as I checked before posting and it was $48.

    • thanks, ordered one from officeworks :) easy to click and collection

  • Great speaker for the price

Is it louder than a mobile phone speaker? Say S10?

    • I'm almost certain it would be

    • +3

      shitloads better and clearer.

Sorry to offend those who negged this comment. It was a genuine question.

  • Just purchased it, I have started to sell all my non bt portable JBL speakers, This is awesome I was going to go to Kmart tommorow and get it for $36, I purchased the JBL clip 3 2 days ago and received it today and I'm very impressed, I also have the boom box and want the JBL charge 4 and extreme 2, Im not sure about the flip 4 because of the flip 5 is coming out.

    • +2

Why do you need so many? I have the JBL charge 2, have had it for several years, it's great.

      • +4

I figure one for each occasion, the go 2 is good for grab and go, The clip 3 is larger and can be easily attached to things, The flip is good when I do short trips in Australia with my small suite case, The charge 4 to take overseas, The extreme 2 for when the boom box is to heavy to lug around but i want the sound, I like to buy things and I really love the JBL speakers and music and that's why I own do many headphones/buds etc as well

  • Cant wait for these to be $20 again so i can pricebeat at officeworks.

Free delivery if you go through Harvey Norman's sister site Joyce Mayne https://www.joycemayne.com.au/catalogsearch/result/?q=JBL+Go…

    • Saves me going into HN. Awesome!

it's been 10 business days since I ordered from Joyce Mayne and my speakers haven't been dispatched yet. I wish I had of driven to Officeworks or got somewhere else to price match

      • Has anyone received their speakers from Joyce Mayne? I ordered on 5/5 and followed up twice via their chat system, but to no avail. Can’t believe it hasn’t been dispatched yet, nor any reasonable explanation for the delay! Probably would have received it by now if I ordered from overseas.

        • I got mine today. I messaged them 4 or 5 times, each time they said it would be dispatched in a day or so but wasn't. It ended up been sent from a Harvey Norman store. To end the experience they used a cheap courier company that left the parcel at about the 8th closet parcel point to my house, which was about as far as the nearest HN store. One of the worst online shopping experiences I have had

  • I have never been in a situation where I needed to play loud music in public. At home, I use my stereo.

I have never been in a situation where I needed to play loud music in public.

If you want to get involved, tranquil nature areas and bush camping spots appear to be popular choices in my experience.

      • I hear a crowded train or bus is where its at to play loud music.

        /sarcasm.

I travel a lot and take this everywhere. It does the job in a hotel room and the size is ideal. If you want a BT speaker to listen to music at home this would not be a great choice. It's size and portability are it's best features.

  • JBL extreme 2 only 237 as well

  • Thanks OP purchased one for travelling. Don't think it's practical to carry my UE Megaboom in comparison to this. I was contemplating to get the cheaper Anker Soundcore Nano, but thought this is more rugged plus has IPX7.

  • Also at Officeworks! The cheapest it has been was 1st of jan At $23.70 also at Officeworks
