thank you! just used dad's number to buy 6 tickets for the family. sadly I haven't been in years, it's far too expensive. however at half price- very reasonable

You’ll have a ball - we love it - we always take the kids and it’s something we really look forward to.

  • Not seeing 50% at all.

    • +1

Geez - they must have sold out already 😩 it was limited to 10,000 tickets. I got my email about it at 2.04pm.

      • Family pass is 64 down from 80, an adult pass is 28 down from 35.

        • +1

I paid for my family pass at $40 and a child pass for $10 at 2.10pm.

You posted your unique code so someone used it. 50% off applies to the unique code otherwise the second time used will be less.

  • I think the code is unique. Mine was different to this one.

Was able to buy some 1 minute ago.

  • +2

Code is definitely unique, just received an email which said:

Save 50% OFF Ekka tickets by entering your unique promotional code below.

Hurry, this offer applies to the first 10,000 tickets only.

One transaction per person. 8 tickets per transaction. Ends Monday 20 May, 11:59pm AEST, unless sold out prior. Terms and conditions apply.

  • Someone please PM your unique code if u are not going.

Might take my kid this time

    • Same with me please.

  • Does not work 50% but more as 25%… 2x adult pass $ 53.20 ($ 70.00)

If it ends up being unique just change numbers until it works - it's just based on the LUHN algorithm AFAIK?

    • Yes this worked. Got my tickets 50% off. Cheers

    • Hi leeroys_dad I used your number to get a few tickets through experienceoz racq webite, on reviving the tickets it said RACQ membership May be requested, did anyone get that?

      • +1

all good they probably wont ask - if they do tell them too bad you don't have a card but you have a membership. if they could actually see any details about the RACQ membership they wouldnt need to ask

  • Try “7V7N2S” for 50% off tickets.
I received an email at 2:05 with this code.

  • I tried all the above and get the message that the 50% allocation has been exhausted (initial code, leeroys_dad code and meathead95 code) but that 20% off is still available so went with that.

    • Bugger- tried the experienceoz link from OZA with leeroys_dad number and it worked for 50%! Too late bought already…

Now you just need a 50% off deal for flu shots.

    • Haha I was about to make the same joke

    • Those damn westerlies!

Ekka is so small now that so much land has been developed. Not worth it.

  • When is Ekka ?

    • Always in August. Specific dates are on their site.

  • Experience Oz worked for me even when the Ekka site said the allocation was exhausted

    • I did that too but it said racq membership May be requested. lol which I don’t have!!!

      • I do have it so not an issue for me

        • Did u received the tickets in your email? I only received the experience Oz set up

          • @aseren: if you download the PDF after payment confirmation, the tickets are there on the 2nd page.

  • what’s the main attraction of the ekkaI went once and it was very expensive, so why not goto dreamworld

    • So city kids get to meet the hard working farmers and not grow up to be ignorant suburban yuppies.

      • fair enough, just a rip off though imho.
family of 4 would spend 200-300 by the end of the day

        • Dont go on the rides - go there for the show. Boring for kids over 5 but little kids get a lot from it.

    • +1

Our kids are 4, 6 and 8 and love the Ekka and never go on any rides as we have theme park passes. They enjoy the animals and the various activities offered by the government exhibits. They always do the kids cooking class, dig for veges, check out the honey bee display etc. At night they enjoy the fireworks, hot wheels show, horse riding displays etc. We don’t spend much - a $2 cheese toastie and $5 on a strawberry ice cream.
