Nokia 7 Plus with Android One - Black Copper 64GB $399 @ Harvey Norman

Searched this before posting, been a couple months since posted at same price. So probably not as great as a bargain anymore unless you are really are after this phone in particular.

  • How could it get 4/5 if it has "lots of software bugs and app crashes"?

I'm using it now with latest Android 9 and no complaints. May be the original Android version it came with had issues. I had the USB C port loose contact issue which Nokia fixed it within warranty for me. Hoping to receive Android 10 as well this year.

      • a friend of mine bought one and I really loved the design. But maybe a month or so later he said it died (bricked) and he had to take it in. Not sure if he got it warranty fixed or not.

      • My friend only had issues after Android 9, while Android 8 was perfectly fine for him.

    • Review is feb2019 …..lot of software updates since then, mine has always worked fine.

    • I've had one for 12 months with no issues and regular updates.

Favourite feature is the 2x optical zoom.

I would buy the imported module as those are dual SIM.

Charging ports on these can be faulty and become hard to charge after 6 months

    • Same here. My charger port became loose after about 8 months and stopped charging. Brought it back to Harvey Norman and they sent it off to be fixed.

  • I am using the 5.1plus and I am still not getting my Whatapp and wechat and viber notification.
I am frustrated by this move by Nokia introducing battery saver program to kill my background apps from running.
Anyone knows of of a fix to this problem??

  • Paid $363 for mine at OW earlier this year, no probs with the charging port.
