Of all these "clean up" softwares that promise to make your computer run a billion times faster or whatever… Tune Up is one of the best, imo.

With the exception of a few others, most suck at doing what they claim to do.

Anyway, good freebie! Thanks for posting.

I thought it's Tuneup iTunes addins for Mac OS

Hehe I read Free copy of Tuneup Until 2010 :P
I might give it a try, but I'm probably better off just buying a new computer at this stage…

I read it the same way, thought it was a little late to be posting it now!

I normally use Advanced System Care, but I think I'll give this one a try.

      Thanks

If you SAVE EVERYTHING, including stuff in documents, videos, photos etc, AND itunes, then reformat, you will be very suprised. You need windows key and windows disc and drivers disc.

  • Used a trial version of this before and really helped my old PC.

  • I've been using this tool for about 4 years - it rocks! MS should have shipped it with VISTA as it's the only way to get it to work…

  • Probably one of the better if not best tune-up utilities out there.

what is the best in your opinion?

  • Thanks

  • Cool, thanks, nice to have on the side..

  • I thought 'Tuneup' meant it was for tuning your voice recordings to make it sound good, like that Rebecca Black song :P What's it called? Thursday? Saturday?

I think you are referring to autotune

      • nah, I think it's called "Friday"

  • I'm quite impressed with the 1-Click maintenance, especially the optimize system startup and shutdown suggestions it gives you. It provided details about tons of 3rd party applications running on my PC.
Thanks for sharing, looks like a great program :)

For anyone who doesn't know, www.guerrillamail.com is excellent for freebies like this.

  • Worked for me … thanks!

  • Thanks OP. I have not used it earlier.
From the positive reviews of the fellow ozbargainers, I think it will do what it claims.

    • It's a really good program — it has the 'turbo booost' PC part and actually does make your computer faster by disabling a lot of unused services.

There's advanced features too for those who are more technically advanced

    Fantastic piece of software!
I use this routinely before fixing up computers because it irons out all the old uninstalled program quirks which have built up over the years.

    Thanks for this OP!

  • Is anyone else getting a "Please fill in all the required fields" error, even though you have filled out all the fields. I've tried a couple of browsers with the same error.

    • Chrome worked after FF5 failed

      • That's funny yesterday i had to use IE8 cause Chrome failed (only used IE8 cause FF was replaced by chrome and i need IE for web testing).

  • Did the code work for anyone? When i tried to insert the code it said it is for an older version.

  • Sorry not the code but the product key

    • Please ignore the previous the previous 2 posts. Silly me download the 2011 version.

  • here's mine
