  • Wonder what Bunnings will come out with!

  • Thanks OP! My dad wanted a drill for DIY. This should suffice for building furniture on the rare occasions we buy new ones.

    • May I suggest cordless tools for occasional work might not be the best idea. The batteries are meant to be used: not sitting stored in a box for months unused, and not on trickle charge for months until used either.

For that kind of use a corded tool will last forever, and the battery won't appear to be charged just fine but then die in a few minutes when it's needed because it's lost capacity.

Oh, I didn’t know that. My dad has been asking for a cordless drill for a few months now, but I’ll bring up your comment! Thanks for your advice, really appreciate it

        • This drill will use Li-on batteries so there is no memory and will not lose capacity

    • Why would anybody need a DRILL to assemble furniture?

If it's pre-fab (eg: IKEA) use an Hex Key or Screwdriver.

  • i want to drill the drill.
