The latest freebie that's been released for the game, and is a universal code that will work on all platforms. Will require a SHiFT account to redeem, which you can do here.

Golden Keys allow you to unlock the special weapons chest on the spaceship Sanctuary, and will be an item that's suitable for your character at the level they are when you open the chest. It has increased chances to get a Unique or Legendary item. Thus, a lot of players will hoard their keys until they hit level 50 in the hopes they'll get a sooper-dooper-ultra-rare weapon; in practice, it really only means your chances improve from 'vanishingly slim' to 'highly improbable'.

    Ok boomer.

    I despise loot boxes in games and agree they should be done away with, but developers giving away free limited time keys now and then in a game that has no micro transacations (far as im aware?) are far from a loot box you have to pay for.

          @ChillBro: It took me a few attempts at first before someone told me where I was going wrong, lol.

          The solution is adding another "\" after the first one in the left arm (no spaces).

  does the shift account need a purchased copy of borderlands 3 attached?

    I got that with some other codes but all of these one's worked with Borderlands 3 linked to my account through epic games

    Don't think so. As a true ozbargainer, I have redeemed the code on all 3 platforms but only own the Epic version
