  • I'm sure there are better frozen yogurt deals on groupon.

    • They had frozen by a thousand blessing a while back bought like 5. These places are all on entertainment book as well.

I’ll downvote with my wallet by not buying from a man who underpays his staff in an industry that’s tough AF.

Actually you should do the opposite to keep these staff employed. Many may not get their annual leave pay out because the company is running out of $.

      • I’d rather they go and get employed elsewhere. Screw him and his mansions and Master Chef crap while his staff members were doing all the hard work.

from a man who underpays his staff

Pretty sure it wasn't his job to do payroll.

Doesn’t matter. As an owner it’s his responsibility to ultimately ensure the business does the right thing.

        • +2

          He was a 5% owner…

Also, are you aware of what was underpaid?

Why should he be the scapegoat and all the others that were really responsible (including the auditors) get off free…

@jv: No idea. I like to just comment without the facts. Enlighten me what was.

              @cnut:

              No idea.

              May read up on it…

Why didn't the staff complain they were being underpaid?

              • @jv: First of all he was a joint partner. After the third dude left. No idea where your 5% comes from. It’s like Zuckerberg not being responsible for Facebook because he only owns a small stake in the business compared to all the investment money pumped into it.

Secondly I’m sure they did, which is why this shit storm is happening.

                • @cnut:

                  Secondly I’m sure they did

                  Proof?

Because what I've been listening to discussing the event is that nobody was away they made a mistake, not the business, not the staff, not the auditors. It was a mistake is calculating the rate during certain conditions.

                  • @jv: Kinda like your 5%. Where did you pluck that figure from?

                    • @cnut:

Where did you pluck that figure from?

On the radio on the weekend.

Also, it is now zero, he is an employee.

Georgie boy is trying to get some free advertisement and business for his crappy yoghurt!

    • He doesn't own any of the business.
