We have bought the white chocolate and Italian chocolate and can vouch it's good!
wish it was in vic ….until then its connosiuer 1L tubs I guess, and connosier is iced-cream not gelato.
Aurora foods make tubs of gelato too. They are found in local delis and greengrocers.
If you dont like the flavour you will have to go through 5L of it.

Is this particularly good/popular gelato?
My local grocer sells 2L tubs of gelato for $12 so only $6/L already. Only a few flavours but chocolate is good enough for me.
We went halves with our neighbours in two tubs and were happy with the quality. More like you would buy when you get cones from an ice-cream store so better than from Coles or Woolies.

I just did a search and found that Gelista are offering three flavours in 5L tubs for $25 pickup from 22 Forster Street, Ridleyton SA 5008. A couple of years ago, I noted that IGA sold 570ml Gelista tubs for $10.50, so you do the math.
Just picked up a tub of Double Choc and Chocolate Chip. They are running out of flavours fast, none of my first choices were available.
Might nip back in over the weekend and get an extra tub, just in case you see.
We've already gone through a 5L tub of Pistachio and half way through a tub of Coconut! This is the good stuff. Damn you lockdown diet!
Note that their Osborne Park location is a fairly nondescript brick warehouse. Look out for the teardrop banners out the front.
Just bought a tub of pistachio and found it a bit average. Has that chemical taste. Definitely no way near Chichos quality
Just got 4 tubs. Some flavours going out of stock but still plenty of choices.
