Surfshark VPN: 90% Cashback (Approx $13 for 3 Years after Cashback) @ Cashrewards (New Surfshark Customers Only)

750

This popular offer is back. Enjoy :)

Expires: May 9, 2020, 11:59:00 PM
Just $13* after cash back on 3 year plans
Coupon:CASHREW3Y

New Surfshark customers only.

You must click out from this offer on Cashrewards and then select 'Buy Now' from the Surfshark page in order to receive the discounted 36 month plan. If the coupon is not applied automatically, ensure you add it prior to checkout.

Prices are quoted in AUD, and may change depending on US dollar exchange rate.

Offer and increased cashback can be withdrawn at any time without notice.

The AUD amount that tracks to your Cashrewards account may differ to the paid amount due to international exchange rates. Your initial payment is converted to USD, then converted back to AUD when reported to us. The advertised Cashback rate is based on the reported amount, not the paid amount. Cashrewards has no control over this process.

Referenced $13 after cashback is a best estimate figure which depends entirely on current exchange rates and may vary due to the current volatile nature of world currencies. Cashback is calculated and paid on the advertised cost of the plan only (AUD $2.99 per month or approx AUD $108 for 3 years). It will not include any GST, taxes, credit card or PayPal surcharges.

From previous post: Advice is to pay using a credit card (or debit card) and not PayPal.

    Any deal on PureVPN?

    • +6

Yes, we have 4 VPN providers all at 90% cashback for our 6th birthday. They are all active now until the 9th of May:

Surfshark VPN, PureVPN, NordVPN, and CyberGhost VPN.

No love for the best, Express VPN? :(

      • +2

Been only using tunnelbear every now and then.

Any differences among all those vpns? Which one should i choose among them?

      • Thx for that. How does PureVPN work with CR? The most popular plan they have got right now is 0.99 for 7 days and then 5.82 a month. Does that mean I only get 0.891 back for the transaction only?

        • Basically you get 90% cashback on your initial outlay, which is why you’re better off choosing a longer term plan.

      • Any restrictions for paying with cryptocurrency? I saw shopback had a clause

        • +1 can this be confirmed?

  • I cannot see the 3 years plan on surfshark site only 2 years, 1year and monthly. Is it just me?

    • +2

You must click out from the Cashrewards link in the deal. The 3 year offer only activates via the affiliate link.

      • Thanks got it! Do you know if its good for us/uk netflix etc?

        • Best to have a read of comments in previous posts. Cheers :)

        • Yes I use the London location on Surfshark to watch Netflix. I don't stream in HD though, so not sure how that would go, but no issues with standard definition.

          • +1

@Adamantine: @Adamantine: Is that on computer or Android box like nvidia shield? I have a shield so want to make sure it works for that.

            • @Groovyuvi: No, I just use it on my pc, mac and my android smartphone. Works fine on all three. Maybe send a message to their support and check with them? From my experience, their customer support has been very helpful.

Found Surfshark app for Andoid very buggy recently. Going by recent reviews I am not alone. It has been hit and miss with geo-restricted streaming. No Obfuscated Servers available like with NordVPN. Speeds are nothing special. Support seemed good, then turned robotic and unhelpful for couple of issues. But for $13 you can't ask for much. I would recommend ProtonVPN and ExpressVPN over this. Depends what you use it for.

    • Been with PIA for a long long time now… And with a server now in Perth, SOCKS5 and WireGuard (Beta) they've kinda made it ever so hard for me to move away :)

If I ever did, I would love to try ProtonVPN as I've heard good things!

  • Just rememeber, any VPN that cheap is simply selling your traffic analytics off.

    • +1

That had very much crossed my mind. What evidence do you have?

  • is anyone using these VPNs successfully for hotstar?

    • +1

Doesnt work.. nord used to.. but not anymore after the disney takeover

      • +1

Nord Works perfectly with Hotstar - watching right now

        • Thats what I was saying.. if your app is updated, it doesnt.. btw I am watching on the vodafone tv, it works for the premium content and not vip… there are lots of trial and errors that need to be done…

None of my friends got hotstar working with nord, and yes it used to before the app updates

    • Since last one week most of the VPNs seem to have been blocked after Disney new update …anyone still able to watch .pls post the VPN name

I have been streaming it on my android tablet using Surfshark. Tricks I had to do are
        - set the tablet clock to Indian time and turn off "automatic date & time" from settings
        - turn off location (from settings) for the app (I have it off for everything)
        - and make sure vpn is always on (Ofcourse Indian server) before you open the app.

It doesn’t actually work out to $13. Not for a while now. Expect around $20.

    • It’s actually $10.57. See here.

  • How long does it take for the transaction to show up?

    • just purchased also, hasn't tracked yet, but i can see it in click history

  • +1

I signed up for this a while ago - they're great. Solid speeds, good apps, good support. Well worth it

  • Amount: AUD 105.72 with anz travel rewards credit card.
    Cashback: AUD 95.15

Reward available at end of July.

    Amazing deal!!

  • I signed up for this last deal. Have found it dramatically slows my internet connection. Anyone else having a similar experience?

    • I still get decent speeds on surfshark

  • Why is the advice to not pay using Paypal?

    • Paypal exchange rate, which means you will pay much more than your normal credit card

  • +1

Once signed up, can you cancel so it doesn't auto-renew?

    • +1

Yep, have to go through their support and do a couple of back and forths of “are you sure you want to cancel your auto-renew?”

They reply quickly though so it’s not a big deal.

      • I only had to ask once. Sorted in 2min.

        • Lucky - I had 3 back and forths to cancel the auto-renew and then another 3 to ask to cancel + refund.

          • @Cucumber123: I just said that I don't want to cancel the service, but to cancel the automatic renewal, and I will shop around in 3 years and if happy will sign up again.

  • +1

How does this compare with the other VPN deals from Pure VPN and Nord VPN both from a price and performance perspective?

  • -1

i cant find the 3 year option only 2 years

  • Can anyone please help getting US Prime Video to work using Surfshark?

I've logged on and it required OTP authentication that I provided but the US exclusive shows like The Wire are not showing up at all.

Started watching The Wire through the free HBO Now access that has now expired and I must continue!

  • I purchase this 3 year plan on March's OzBargain deal, but the cash back is not available till now

The rewards for this transaction are currently pending and is within the confirmation period for this store.

    why it takes so long?

  • Signed up! Amazing deal now hoping the rewards show up. Thanks for the post.

  • Just signed up. US Netflix doesn't work on smart TV's that require smart DNS. Netflix works fine using the VPN through a browser on PC though.

    • Same I couldn't get it to work on my LG smart tv, followed the instruction with smart DNS.

I'm thinking of buying Vodafone Tv Box.

      • Could you VPN to PC and then chromecast to TV? Does that work?

        • Technically yes you can chromecast your desktop to TV but it will stutter/lag. Best way would be to plug directly with HDMI.

Signed up - thanks - also the first time i have used Cash Rewards. 2 -5% never felt worthwhile. converted now. thanks OP.

  • I just tried it for Surfshark using Chrome, the only option was a 24 month plan instead of the 3 years, I even tried on incognito mode just to see if one of my extension was the cause but to no avail, is the deal still on?

    • Nvm, got it to work. I had to click the "Shop Offer" link (smaller red button), instead of the "Shop Now" (Larger Red Button) on the top. Thanks!

  • Signed up and cashback tracked! Thanks.

  • How are they with P2P and torrents?

    • Bought 3h ago.
      Hasn't tracked yet with CR.

    • +1

Allowed. I use a torrent box, but just tried it out for ya and was getting 4.0-4.5 megabytes a second. Im on 50/20 and the highest speed I ever get off vpn is 5 megabytes so Id say it aint bad. Your isp will count, mines crap so thats a good sign ;P

    • Signed up with surfshark and now id like to browse torrents. Its been at least 10 years when I last did it. Which site(s) should I check?

  • If I take up this cash back am I still eligible for the express VPN cash back when it comes out? I wouldn't mind trying both…

    • I asked if I could get two (got surfshark thinking of getting nord aswell) and they said its fine….ya never know they might of had a no competition clause or something ;)

  • I have Ivacy but can't seem to get Amazon prime streaming working on that so now considering getting Surfshark - or one of these other services.
    Any recommendations?

  • I missed out. Any idea when will the next 90% cashback be back?

  • Glitchy.. sometimes doesn’t work with prime on chrome. Heard it’s a shell company? Would rather go with expressVPN at this point. Regrets.

  • CMIIW, but it seems that the offer is extended, now ends at 31 May 2020.
