Not safe at all. It will be posted on Craigslist under men seeking men.

  • Dude I'm not going to give my phone number to spammers!

ooh i work at 7-11 and i have such a great tip i could give you guys but i might get in trouble for it so i guess i wont… :(

    • You can't just leave us hanging like that………………………………
Damn no ACT though unless it counts in NSW

screw it i think i should help out since ozbargain has given me so much more! ok here we go.. all codes start with 7117000000 and the last 3 numbers change. while i was working a group came in and took numbers 420 to 425 cos they had done the phone thing at the same time. here's the tip.. most of the time the barcode wont work on the scanner so us people have to read it. we love a friendly customer who goes let me read the number out… if you can find a set of numbers (last 3 digits) that work your sorted :)

    • +1

wait thats misleading i realized the number is 7117000000*** so the last 3 numbers!

  • +5

    1) facebook deal.. meh, over them
    2) have to give phone number… definitely over them
    3) MMS… can't receive it, = can't use it even if I wanted to..

So fail, fail and fail. But not a bad deal if you don't care about #1 or #2, and #3 doesn't apply to you.

Yes, I'm going to share with 7-Eleven my name, profile picture, gender, networks, user ID, list of friends and mobile phone number so I can save a few dollars on an ice cream. What could possibly go wrong?

    • +1

List of friends? Will you tell them??

      • +1

if you enable that on your facebook, people can see who your friends are

        • +2

That's a bit of a downer for those of us with no friends…

  • Thanks Op, just got one then - looking forward to my $1 Choc Berry Whip Drumstick tomorrow? :D

Long Jetty 7-11 refused to scan or put in the code provided in the MMS.

    Revoked my +.

  • Richmond 7/11 had never heard of it, i convinced them to scan it and then finally enter the number in by hand and they said it did not register.
    About to revoke my "like"
