  • I don't see these prices being any better than, say, normal pricing from Photobookshop

    https://www.photobookshop.com.au/voucher

    • I didn't know photobookshop.
But those are not their "normal" pricing either.
They're having a sale at the moment too.
You should post it on OzBargain

Photobookshop are one of those companies which have a "permanent sale"….so what you see are pretty much their every day prices.

  • Where’s the 10.5% cashback from?

Paid those prices a few weeks ago. Beware shipping is a killer. I bought two vouchers to use and found out when redeeming at checkout that shipping was additional $35. This was for 4 A4 hardcover books.

    • Did you find out after you bought the vouchers?
      That's dodgy AF

It’s true most of these Photo book places are permanently on sale but these guys are good quality. Pay the bit extra for the higher gsm paper. I’ve purchased different types but the larger layflat book are the best imo. I’m a professional photographer and I can highly recommend.

  • Has anyone had experience with their canvases?

Looking to get a few in various sizes.

  • Softcover Photobook [40 Pages] from $2.95
    where is the link

  • Photobook Australia quality is really good. Their pricing is also very competitive.
But when it comes to shipping they charge about 14$ for each book. Also when a voucher is purchased at such discounted rate, the do NOT allow to combine the shipping - that is from my past experience.
Hence when you get that free small photobook, I suppose you are going to pay that 14$ of shipping extra on that anyways.
BTW, they send the photo books printed from Malaysia.

However if you are really interested to buy multiple books from them within a year, then you can buy a Photobook pass which is not much cheaper but still it makes a better deal because you get a photobook of up to a value of 79$ or something. Just explore photo book pass option.

    • Hmm. Interesting that they are called Photobook Australia but the orders actually get fulfilled in Malaysia. What exactly do they do in Australia then? Host the website?

    • Hey mate, if i buy two of these (80 page book) and the lite plan you mentioned (3 free shipments and a free book) can i ship the two i bought here for free on the plan?

      • Ideally speaking yes, you should be able to do it.

However better you check with them by either calling or email, I have done it in the past and they are quick on either ways of communication.

  • On the purchase page

    Your purchase comes with:…
    - Guaranteed shipping within 7 working days

In the fine print terms and conditions in a light gray font on a white background

Shipping fee is not included and can be paid upon checkout

Add to that the overseas printing and the disclaimer that you will have to pay any import duties, and this is a very poor deal.

  • Bought a voucher for $39 for a large canvas ("normally" $139). Went to check out using the voucher and they are now trying to charge $38 for shipping.
I added the same canvas before the voucher to the cart to try and check shipping and it was $0.

    • Wow.
      Is that even legal?

      • I'll let you know as I'll be pursuing it if I don't get a refund.

        • Removed my neg vote.

After explaining myself in a second email they agreed to refund the voucher. Wasn't expecting it but I'm happy they did. Will likely buy from them in the future as they have good reviews and were recommended by my wedding photographer.
