Canon MG8150 - $264 @ Harvey Norman Indooroopilly

30

Just bought one today and it seems to be a good printer. The price is $264 but got it for $250. Bonus $50 gift card as well. If you want to try Officeworks' price match thing it will be a bit more cheaper but I couldn't be bother.

    Officeworks @ $199 + $50 voucher

Meh looks like it was an estore price match
EStore had it for $199. And OP was able to get OW to price match

Unfort eStore has upped their price

Considering it's a 20% difference of what it could have been bought at I do not find this a bargain.

  • With the cost of ink these days I rarely think its a good idea to shell out over 200 bucks on a printer.

  • I don't really understand why people buy expensive home printers. Unless you plan on printing your own photos, which you shouldn't because getting them done at shops is so cheap.

    • Apart from the printing quality and convenience, this one includes a great scanner, automatic duplexer and wireless networking support. Also, more expensive models may be built to last a little longer. The capacity of the initial ink/toner cartridges and the running costs per page may also matter.

BTW, if you are looking at MG8150, have a look at MG6150 as well.
