    Head & Shoulders For Men

    Why can't women use this?

    • +8

I believe the process is reversed and it adds dandruff to women

    • +2

Why can't the knees and toes use this?

  • +3

Can't go wrong with old spice.

    • Agree or the Charcoal

If you care about your hair - 2 in 1 is always a bad idea.

    • Why?

      • I've been using this stuff for years and now I'm worried.

        • -1

If you have managed to get a partner and hold on to them then you need not worry. Otherwise it is possible that your hair is not looking its best and you may struggle to attract…

        • I've been using this stuff for years

          Do these work

    • What if you never normally use conditioner in your hair and only shampoo? Surely then 2 in 1 is better than only using shampoo?

    • I just bought it, should I be concerned lol

  • +1

never go for 2-1, it destroy your hair!!

    • Why? it's so much easier as you only need to rinse once.

      • +4

Unfortunately, shampoo strips away many of the natural oils that your hair needs for good health since is formulated with basically detergents (Sulfate). You use conditioner after you shampoo because it replaces the oils that shampoo washes away. Without conditioning your hair, the shampoo will leave it feeling dry, especially if you wash every day.

        shampoo = clean
        conditioner = hidratate

If you want a healthy hair, you should look for a shampoo that is Sulfate-free and always leave the conditioner in your hair for 2-3 min (you can put in your hair and start using the soap for example)

Shampoo with conditioner is basically cancelling the conditioner since the main function of it is to hydrate your hair and the sulfate you have in the shampoo is damaging it…

Thank you so much for your advice! I'll take notice from now on.

        • Nice info. Any suggestions on sulfate free shampoo?

    • +1

Really - Where’s the evidence? Cause I’m already losing hair and don’t want to continue. Anyone have recommendations?

      • a better recommendation for hair loss is going to see a specialist, he will give you special treatments to stop it (since hair loss can be from stress, what you been eating, if you use a lot of hats… so many factors!)

    • +1

I normally use 3 in 1 shampoo conditioner shower gel so should I be worried?

      • you are literally putting detergent (sulfate) in your hair (ingredients of a shower gel: Aqua/Water/EAU, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine (synthetic detergent), Sodium Chloride (salt), Parfum/Fragrance…)
Also, the fragrance is never good, if you have sensitive skin, it can be the cause of you having itch scalp, dandruff or even others more serious problems…

      • +10

I am using 7 in 1 shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, dishwashing detergent, laundry powder, car shampoo and toilet cleaner. Should I also be worried?

      • +1

You should. I can see the sky falling any minute now.

  • Wish they had conditioner too

    • +1

They have this one for the same price

      • +1

Oh my god thank you! I couldn’t find it. Ordered!
I have hair almost to my mid back and go through a lot :/ have set up once a month delivery to see how I go

        • +1

From my understanding, setting up a subscription doesn't mean you'll get the special price the next time.

          • @aaronaldo: I just had a look and you’re right!
I might cancel these S&S then seeing as I usually just wait for coleworth to run this price ::

            • +2

@imnotarobot: Cancel after your first shipment so you get it for this price.

  • New to Subscribe and Save - can you cancel the subscription straight away, or do you need to wait for it to be shipped?

    • I’d wait for it to be shipped to be sure.

      • that's what i do

    • They send you an email before shipping the next one, so you'll have plenty of time to cancel it.

    • +1

If you cancel it before they have "processed" the order they will cancel all pending orders.

Wait until it has been dispatched at least.

  • And question about subscribe and save-
If I order two of these a month, do I keep the discount for the following months?

    • +1

the 10% off the list price, yes.
the list price however can change.

    • Just like the stock market, sometimes the price will be up or down even you have signed for the S & S price from the previous time.

  • So why are some people saying this is bad for your hair? Is it too harsh? Or just plain not good quality?

    • what I said in the other post :)

"Unfortunately, shampoo strips away many of the natural oils that your hair needs for good health since is formulated with basically detergents (Sulfate). • conditioner = "hidratate" - I think you made up that word, or it's in another language perhaps??

        • Hydrate, hydration, moisturizing

      • Ah ok, Yeah even with some 2-1s i still did use conditioner afterwards and whenever i use conditioner i leave it in my hair for a few minutes while i wash the rest of the body. But what about just using conditioner and not shampoo at all? I presume conditioner itself will still somewhat cleanse the hair as well? or it doesnt really?

        • conditioner don't cleanse, but you can not use shampoo at all, I heard of some people doing it, I think depends on your hair type…

  • Ive used the HS shampoo and conditioner and it does work for me ti reduce flake. Wasn't using it fir awhile, and then noticed flaking again, so did the Woolworths deal. Not bad value for 620ml and good hair wash product overall i think.
