    As I'm so used to touch screens these days, I'm not getting a notebook PC without it. When are we going to see touch screen on notebooks?

      There are already a few but still 1st gen i3/i5. 2nd gen stuff coming soon.

      To see what there is now, look at Gigabyte T1125N, Asus Eee Slate P121, Gigabyte S1080 (N570 CPU only).
