  • Thanks ordered

  • Great deal on subscribe and save ($15.75).

  • Thanks

  • Ordered 3 packs to get free delivery, my staffy loves these and gets them every day

  • I have used these until now but trying Greenies due to their better reviews. Any feedback for/against Greenies?

    • +1

My dog loves both, but probably prefers Greenies. They are much more expensive though, so she mostly gets Dentastix.

Her teeth are fantastic. 2 year old Border Collie.

      • +2

Do you have any issues with canines wearing out?

        • my dog chipped its tooth from it. It's too hard. I buy greenies which are much softer and easy to chew on.

        • +1

          Not at all.

Not sure what the other poster is talking about - they aren't that hard at all. My dog chews on bones that must be 100x harder…

    Good, ran out.

Woolworths has same price (minus S&S) for 28 pack $8.75, but it seems its an online only price?

Coles has same price (minus S&S) for 2 x 28 pack for $17.50

  • What is expiry date on these?

  • The large size is the best value and I just break them in half for my medium sized dog.

  • -3

Personally, I wouldn't feed any of these nor other dental sticks to my dog. Not exactly full of good stuff these products.

    • -1

      Care to elaborate?

    • -4

Thank you whoever downvoted like a sour grapes. If you can't accept fact I feel sorry for you and your dog especially.

These don't do jack for your dog's dental health either so if you are under a false illuision thinking that you are somehow doing your dog's teeth a favour by giving these out everyday, you are sorely mistaken.

No matter what these companies try to tell you, brushing your dog's teeth is the only way to keep them healthy.

      • I bet you don't vaccinate either because "THeY coNtAiN MeRCUry"

        • -2

And how does vaccination relate to Dentastix made with rubbish meat and chemicals that are bad for your dogs?
          Another smart one here.

What did you want to bet? Because you would have lost that bet.

    • To be fair i think @keejoonc, despite being a bit a douche about it, has a point. some internet research seems to show that these may contain some substances that are less than ideal. But hey, I had 24 mcnuggets that i'm sure will slowly rot my insides.

To each their own. I don't think keejoonc should be crucified for sharing his opinion.

I feed my dog dentastix's currently but may potentially look into other alternatives…

If you are giving it to your dog for dental benefits, save your money and your dog's health and just brush their teeth daily or at least once every two days.

If you are using this as a treat, there are tons of other healthier options. I am sometimes tempted to explore other dental sticks just because my dog loves them but once you go through a massive health scare, nothing else matters more than the health of my dog.

Sadly, Ozbargain has become a place where if you say anything negative about a product people blindlessly go crazy about, you get shot down with no valid reasons.

    • I can't believe people downvote this lad because he raised a concern for our dog health

    • Agreed, this is junk food for dogs maybe with a tiny bit of teeth cleaning involved but they are too soft to have any actual effect. Just go get some quality real bones instead of these would both clean their teeth and actually good for their health.

Had to get my dog to the emergency department after we have him a pedigree dentastick. He wouldn't walk for a week afterwards, but he lived.

  • Great deal. Thanks.

  • Believe they are back in stock as I've just ordered them

  • -6

These things resulted in a trip to the emergency department for my dog. He stopped moving after eating one. Just lay there crying. It was awful.

    Never buy Pedigree brand.

    • +2

Dont blame the product blame the dog. Used Pedigree for 15+ years never had an issue.

Its like saying I ate a piece of chicken and bone got struck in my throat, don't anyone eat chicken, I landed up in the emergency room

😂 pretty desperate to defend a product dude. Weird.

        • +2

Gave my dog plenty of these and no issues. I’ll keep buying pedigree without a care in the world.

        • -1

You’re the one ‘pretty desperate’ to blame a product for an underlying issue with your dog.

  • OOS again
