  • It has IBIS.
  • Different from typical Fujifilm camera with PASM dial.
  • Has enough dials and buttons.
  • Represents more modern look with the grip and articulating screen.

The 16-80mm F4 XF lens is a quality lens (typically $1200). Very good for travel purpose.

  • I don't get this model lineup it's very close to the XT-4 what differs between the two?

    • +2

      Advantages of X-T4 over X-S10

      • Newer battery
      • Even more buttons (e.g. D pad, MCS switch)
      • Better viewfinder
      • More log profiles for professional video work
      • Option of getting a battery grip
      • Slightly better IBIS becuase of more space in the body
      • Dual card slot
      • More fps for burst shoot

      Advantages of X-S10 over X-T4

      • Inbuilt flash
      • Better grip
      • +cheaper price for S10 (however Fujifilm is doing casbhack offer for T4)

        • Yep.

We should also note that it's been few months since X-T4 was released and on offer most of times. I was getting X-T4 with 18-55mm F2.8-4 for $2500 on eBay when they were running 20% sale on digiDirect. On top of that $250 cashback. That would have been a very good bargain.

For me personally, lucky that I didn't go for it because I like the grip and size of X-S10. I don't think I would have ever taken the advantage of the advantages of the X-T4.

      • Another + for X-T4 is weather sealing.

t's not a direct competitor to the X-T4. The X-S10 is a good choice for day-to-day shooting and travel, or a second body. The IBIS and ergonomics make this more versatile than X-T30 (its closest Fuji model).

      • The grip looks much better on the X-S10, I wonder what is the difference between it and X-T30?

        • New sensor. More film simulations. IBIS. Different screen rotation and several other features. The X-S10 is quite a feature packed beast.

@Redmarz: X-S10 seems to have PASM dial, I find the traditional Fujifilm dials confusing so this is a welcome change.

@UncommonName: I bought one recently and as a Fuji user I think they have done a great job designing the ergonomics here (inc. dials). The camera is really easy and quick to use, without any compromise on adjustments.

              • @Redmarz: @Redmarz: Looks like I will be getting an X-S20 in two years time when they kink out all the issues associated with the initial release.

  • how would this camera be for professional real estate photography?

      More than sufficient
